I came up for this whilst I was working on an analysis for the LadyNoir spoiler. I rewatched Sapotis because I was looking for a certain detail which I won't reveal, then I came to the part where Etta and Ella get akumatised into Sapotis.
And then I had this theory.
Remember when I had the theory about more than one person being akumatised at once with different powers? (One of the issues that I mentioned this theory is All About: Akumas.)
Well, here's another.
As you Miraculers know, Sapotis is the only episode so far that have two people akumatised at once. So here's my theory:

Do you have to be holding the thing that has absorbed the butterfly to become an akuma? And have the negative feelings, maybe for the same reason to be identical?

This hints Hawkmoth definitely can akumatise more than one person. And maybe superheroes too, which I've mentioned before... somewhere. *cough cough* Origins Episode *cough cough* Nooroo
It could be possible that it worked because they were twins and were more close in feeling and soul, since Hawkmoth is the MOTHer of feelings. Literally.
