okay so my grandpa was born and raised in Italy

Mum:
like he moved here in his mid thirties and met my grandma (who is Italian as well, but is from America) and they had my mom.

Mum:
well yesterday he came over to stay the night and this morning I had the best thought ever okay

Moon:

Mum:
so he always wakes up hella early and I accidentally ate ice cream before bed so my stomach woke me up dying

Moon:
that's a mood right there

Mum:
so I come downstairs like thirty minutes later and he's at the kitchen table reading this book in Italian and drinking his black coffee and I sit down across from him okay.

Moon:
this is getting good.

Mum:
and I ask

Mum:
"are the rough parts of Italy called the 'Spaghetto'?"

Moon:

Mum:
he looked so disappointed in me like omfg

Mum:
well my parents never taught me Italian so I don't know but It definitely had something to do with my deceased grandmother and he definitely called me a "small bitch" soooooooo there is that.

Mum:
I don't but after sixteen years you pick some stuff up.

Mum:

Mum:

Mum:

I don't know what that means but that emoji makes me think you cursed my first born or something
