Running My Problems Away
There's nothing like feeling of pavement,
Underneath my shoes
With the landscape flying by,
I can hear the birds' gentle cooes
And for once there's nobody surrounding me,
It's just me, myself, and I
An early morning run,
Puts me in an all-day high
There's no feeling better than the one,
Of wind streaking through my hair
And though sweat is running down my face,
My adrenaline is rushing too quick to care
Though my life is crazy,
With lots of twists and turns,
Running straightens out my thoughts
And find my solution for which I so badly yearn
No matter if I lace up at night,
Or take my run during the day
There is no doubt about it,
I run my problems away.
