Chapter 5 - Get out

Saturday 19th

When I awoke, I looked at my cell phone. It was 9:00 in the morning. I had 11 missed calls. All from my dad. I sat my phone down and sat on the edge of the bed looking down at my bare feet. I rubbed my eyes and looked around. The walls were green, with family pictures hung around. The bed I was currently on was a queen size, I assumed. It was really comfortable and the comforter set was black and purple. It must not have been a dream.

"Hello sleeping beauty." Marc greeted making me jump up and turn around.

"Are you trying to give me a heart attack?" I scolded.

"No." He chuckled.

"Whatever, can I use your bathroom?" 

"Sure." He moved away, pointing in the right direction. When I came out of the bathroom, Marc was standing beside the door making me jump again.

"GOD! Will you stop doing that?!" I hissed clutching my chest and he laughed again. Asshole.

"Sorry." He was smiling. He was totally not sorry. I walked back to the guest room, retrieving my phone and shoes. Dad is at work until 2:00, so I have time to go get a shower get ready and get out. I don't know what to do after. I guess I could ride my skateboard.

"Where are you going?" Marc followed being me.

"Home to change. Durrr." I continued walking downstairs.

"Good morning." Emily smiled happily.

"Morning everyone." I returned with a wave.

"SAMANTHA! You're finally up!" Nick said jumping up and hugging me.

"Yeah how are you dude?" I asked hugging him back, taken by surprise. I had never gotten that reaction! Maybe he just liked me since I was new to him. He would get used to me and move on soon.

"Where are you going?" Nick asked eyeing me.

"Home to change, then I will probably go slate boarding." I answered thoughtfully.

"You skateboard?" Marc asked stunned. 

"Yup." I said popping the p.

"Are you coming back?" Nick asked looking up at me with wide eyes.

"You are my buddy now, I have to come back to hang out." I smiled to assure him.

"Ok bye! I love you!" Nick said grinning. I looked at him for a second. Ow my heart! 

"I love you too buddy. Bye everyone. Thanks again for everything." I waved smiling.

"And you don't love me? I am offended!" Jasper crossed his arms, pouting. I laughed and shook my head.

"I barely know you." I stated smiling at him.

"And? You have known me longer than that spikey haired dwarf." He said faking hurt. I could tell he was trying hard not to laugh himself.

"Fine. I love you too. Happy?" I asked rolling my eyes at him.

"Awww!!! I love you too Rosey!!" He exclaimed as he rushed over to me, crushing me into a hug.

"Can't. Breathe." I coughed, with a strangled laugh. My body was starting to ache from the hug. But that's not his fault.

"Come on!" Marc groaned sounding aggravated.

"What?" I asked confused as Jasper pulled away from me.

"I'm going to drive you home. It will be quicker." He stated, walking out and getting in his car not waiting for my answer. I sighed and hugged everyone else before heading out. I hesitated for a moment outside of his car.
