It's been a week since I had been busy preparing for the competition with Daehwi and Jinyoung. The boys had been making us laugh every time we met them. Dongho had been doing a great job in protecting my brother. They went everywhere together, and they got closer too.

The music girls would play instruments and I would sing on my free time. They didn't really care anymore about the gang rule thingy, and Jojo surprisingly didn't make a fuss about it. My mom had been invited Daniel and his mom to eat together at our house every day.

I was really happy that everyone had been really supportive and they basically treated me like a princess. I was so lucky to have them.

The day of the competition

"Hey. It's okay. You'll be fine. We're all here for you," Daniel's mom said as she held my hands tightly when we're waiting in the waiting room.

I had been fidgety all morning, and it's only a few minutes left before the competition started, but I still couldn't seem to calm down.

"I'm gonna go to the restroom, Mom," I excused myself.

"It's gonna be okay. Everything is gonna be okay. Nothing to worry ab ... Kaitlyn?" I called when I saw Kaitlyn, my best friend, or ex best friend, I wasn't sure, as I was walking to the restroom.

"Hey. It's been a while. Would you mind to come with me? I need to talk to you," she said.

"But, the competition is about to start," I said.

"I know. I'm joining the competition too, so we can go together later. I just need a few minutes," she insisted.

Finally I agreed to come with her. She brought me to a restroom at the very far end of an alley.

SLAM

"Kaitlyn, what are you doing?" I asked as I tried to open the door that she suddenly shut once I got in.

"I'm sorry (y/n). I have to do this," she said from the other side of the door.

"Well, hello princess. Miss me?" I heard a familiar voice from one of the stall.

It was Jessie, the headmaster's daughter, my sworn enemy who made my hands tied because of her dirty scheme.

"What do you want Jessie?" I asked when she approached me.

"Well, I kinda miss you. Everybody in the school is just a yes man, so it's kinda boring without you. Oh, and I also wanna help out a good friend of mine," she said when Jojo came out of another stall.

"You? I knew it. A two-faced bitch like you just won't stop. Pffft. Don't you think that it's a little bit too much for all of you to confront just one girl?" I snorted when a couple more girls from my previous school and current school also came out of the stalls.

"That's because we wanna make sure that we do it right this time," Jojo said before she launched a punch at me.

And they started to beat me up. I really wanted to fight back, because I knew that I could beat them all up in less than five seconds. But if I do, then the school's name would be tainted. And after what everyone did for me, that's the last thing that I wanted to happen.
