"Actually only two of your conditions are applicable for me," he said.

"What do you mean?" I asked as I pulled out of his hug.

"Because, those letters to your friend, Pamela. That wasn't my doing. I've never interested in her. Jojo asked me to write it for her, then she's the one who put it on Pam's desk. It's all her idea. Even for the ones that Pam received when she was still the New Girl," he explained.

I was so mad and flabbergasted. How could a she do that to someone else, especially her friend? Well, at that point I doubt that Jojo even knows what friend means.

"Poor (y/n). You even willing to be my girlfriend to protect her, but that ungrateful friend of yours was ignoring you when the real culprit who did it to her told her so. You should really evaluate on how you pick your friends. I heard that's also what happened in your previous school. The girl that you saved, stabbed you in the back," he mocked.

"Shut up! You don't know anything!" I yelled.

"Hahaha, you still don't wanna accept the truth, do you? Well, rest assure my dear, since you're now my girlfriend, I won't let anyone do that to you again," he said.

Listening to him calling me his girlfriend, really sickened me. "No (y/n), you have to bear with it. You gotta do this," I reminded myself.

When I got back to the class, suddenly Daniel dragged me outside.

"Where have you been?" he asked. He looked pissed.

"I just went out for a bit, why?" I asked.

"To see Dongho?" he asked.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Look. There's another picture of you," Daniel said as he showed me some pictures of Dongho and me at the alley. "What's going on (y/n)? Stay away from him, will you? He ..." Daniel said.

"I can't. Because we're dating. He's my boyfriend," I said before he finished his words.

I swear to God, I wanted to throw up when I said that. But I gotta do it. That's the only thing that I could do to protect my brother. "Don't worry brother, you're save now," I said in my mind.

"Guys, have you heard? (y/n) ...," Jihoon paused when he and the boys saw you're walking to the gate holding hands with Dongho after school ends. "Heol. So it's true," he continued.

Everyone was silent. The boys looked at Daniel. He's clearly pissed.

"I'm gonna go home. See you tomorrow, guys," Daniel said as he left.

"I'm gonna talk to him," Minhyun said to the boys before he followed Daniel.

"Daniel, wait up," Minhyun called, then they walked together. "Mmm. I know it's probably not my place to say this but, I think you should talk to her. It's probably nothing," Minhyun said.

"I did. She told me with her own mouth that they're together," Daniel said.

"I still don't buy it though. Why would she wanna do that?" Minhyun said.

"I don't know. I was wondering the same thing," Daniel said.

"Do you remember, when you asked me what happened between me and (y/n) on our date, because later on she cried?" Minhyun asked.

"Yeah. Why are you bringing that up now?" Daniel asked.

"(y/n) is gonna kill me if she knows I tell you this," Minhyun said. Then he told him what happened that day.

"What? When did I kiss ...? Oh, so that's what it looked like. I swear we didn't kiss," Daniel explained.

"That's what I thought so too. Anyway, that's why I still find it hard to believe that (y/n) and Dongho are together. She doesn't like him. Besides, after what he did to her and Pam? Why would she date him? So don't worry about it too much, okay? We'll figure it out," Minhyun said.

"Thanks," Daniel said.

When Daniel got home, he was staring at the ceiling of his room. He was thinking about what could've been the reason for you to be together with Dongho.

"My Son, I brought you some fruits," his mom said as she got in.

Daniel didn't answer.

"Yuhuuu, anybody home?" she said as she snapped her fingers to get her son's reaction.

"Oh, hey Mom. Thank you," he said finally as he took the fruit tray.

"What happened? Are you okay?" she asked.

"(y/n)," he said hesitantly.

"What's wrong with my precious baby?" she asked concerned.

"She got herself a boyfriend," he said weakly.

"What? Oh My God! Finally! Congratulations you two! I'm so happy. I was worried because you're so slow, someone might snatched her from you," she said excited.

"Yeah. That's the thing Mom. Someone just snatched her from me," he said as he dropped his head.

"WHAT? Who did? Tell me!" she asked.

"It's the same person who tripped her yesterday," he said. "Why would she date him Mom? I don't understand," he wondered. "Mom, are you okay?" he asked when he finally realized that she suddenly got quiet.

"Yeah. I'm just worried," she said weakly.

"What? Why?" he asked confused.

"Remember when you asked me why I like her so much?" she asked, then he nodded.

"That day your headmaster, we're close friends, asked me to come to her son's school for a parent meeting, because she had something else to do. When I went there, I saw some girls was beating Catherine, remember your friend that moved to another school because of Jojo?" she asked, then he nodded.

"Well apparently she changed her name to Kaitlyn. I was gonna call someone, but then I saw (y/n) ran to her to save her. She protected Kaitlyn with her body so she got beaten instead. Oh my poor baby, it must've hurt," she said as she was tearing up.

"Then when she saw one of the girl was gonna punch Kaitlyn, she pushed her. That's when the teachers got there, and apparently the girl that (y/n) pushed is the headmaster's daughter," she said.

"Then they brought everyone to the headmaster's office. The girls who were beating Kaitlyn put all the blame on (y/n), saying that she started the fight. Kaitlyn didn't even have the guts to tell the truth and defend (y/n), even after what she did for her. And my poor baby kept her mouth shut when they interrogated her," she continued.

"Why didn't you say something?" he asked.

"I don't know if she remembered me, but her face was pretty bruised when I met her. I told her that I saw everything and I was gonna tell them the truth, but she begged me not to. She told me that Kaitlyn had already have it rough, she just moved from another school and she'd definitely be expelled too if I testified against the headmaster's daughter. And it wouldn't even change the fact that she was expelled, because it's true that she pushed the headmaster's daughter. What a poor kid. Her heart is so pure," his mom said sobbing.

"When I heard that the headmaster banned her from all public schools, I convinced your headmaster to invite her to your school, based on her academics. She agreed because I told her the whole story, and (y/n) really had an outstanding academics too," she continued.

"So I was just afraid that she's dating that boy because she wants to protect someone. She's always like that. Please save my precious baby, Son," she said.
