* Chapter 2: Her Majesty *

Sadie and I both got ready in time, she had on a red party dress with thick fabric that acted as straps. The dress' skirt that popped out a bit and fell right above her knees along with black heels. I on the other hand, had a dark teal tunic dress and nude flats.

"Wow, Sadie you look good!" I complimented her as she brushed her bangs down into place. "C'mon we'll be late!" She said as she grabbed my hand and dragged me to the Cavern. We were within walking distance so driving wasn't really necessary.

We arrived to the Cavern and went directly to the bar. "So, Lizzie, who is your favorite Beatle?" She asked recalling to our original conversation. I simply shrugged, "That Paul fellow is pretty handsome." She began to smile, "Paul? Paul McCartney, the Beatle who has been out every night and been caught with a new girl every week? I'm sorry Lizzie but I expected someone like you to like John. At least he's classy to the press." I laughed, "Look who's caught up in other people's lives!"

Sadie sighed, "All I'm trying to say is that if you two even date, let alone meet, he'll have to clean his act up." I shrugged, "Doesn't matter, it's not like we're going to meet him."

Sadie's eyes widened as her chest heaved up and down, "Really? What if I told you that they're here and he's walking over here?" I began to laugh at her statement, "Yeah right." I chuckled as I turned around to see that she wasn't lying.

Paul McCartney was walking towards us. I turned back quickly finished my drink. Sadie looked like she could've fainted, "Are you okay?" I asked. She nodded. And with that, we ended our conversation.

"Hello Ms.." The doe eyed boy spoke, questioning for my name. "Elizabeth." I replied as I shook his already extended hand. He nodded and smiled, "Well Ms Elizabeth, would you care to dance with me?" He asked gesturing towards the crowd of dancing teens. I nodded slowly, "Sure, I'd enjoy that." He smirked and took my hand as he led me there.

I turned to Sadie who was speechless.

We arrived to the dance floor and began to dance. It was a bit strange at first, not really knowing how to dance with a Beatle, but soon enough, I got adjusted. I mean he's only human, right?

"You're a lovely dancer, Elizabeth." He cooed into my ear as the song ended. I only smiled. The next song was more of a slower pace which made Paul wrap his large hands around my waist. I put my hands on his shoulders as he began to sway me from side to side.

"I'm Paul, Paul McCartney by the way. But you probably know that. Do you like the Beatles?" He asked trying to get me to talk. "I like your music." I nodded. "But you don't love it?" He asked noticing my tone. I sighed quietly, "No offense, Mr. McCartney," "Call me Paul." "Alright, Paul, you have good songs but I don't understand what all the fuss is about The Beatles." I explained as he nodded intently.

"You have a point, I'm afraid I don't understand the big deal either. We're just musicians." He smiled. "So I assume you don't have a favorite then?" He asked with a grin sliding onto his face. I shook my head, "No, I do." He raised an arched eyebrow, "Really, and who would that be?"

I began to feel my cheeks redden at the sound of his sultry voice, as if he already knew the answer and wanted confirmation of it. "You." I said quietly as his grin grew wider. "Really. That's nice of you to say that. It's not because I chose you to dance with, is it?" I shook my head at the comment. "Gear. Would you like to have some drinks? It's on me." He offered. I gladly accepted.

I don't like to dance much. So walking off the dance floor made me feel I huge weight lifted off my two left footed self.

"Two glasses of champagne, please." Paul ordered for us as he helped me sit down on one of the bar chairs. Although Paul didn't sit. Instead, he moved as close as possible to me, our legs pressed against each other. The bartender handed Paul two glasses of champagne and Paul handed me one. "Cheers." He spoke loud enough for me to hear him over the loud music. "For?" I asked. "Meeting a beautiful bird named Elizabeth." He winked causing me to blush. We clicked our glasses together and started to drink the night away...
