I placed a gentle hand on his shoulder as I sang. He looked at me with his stormy gray eyes.

He sang back, caressing the burned wings that were on my back. I winced, but smiled at him nonetheless.

Oh, tears make kaleidoscopes in your eyes
And hurt, I know you're hurting, but so am I

We sang together, getting up off his bedroom floor after being there for more than 3 hours, curled up against each other, crying.

Fresh tears flowed from my eyes as I traced every scar on his body the Galra had given him. Kneeling down, I kissed his past wounds, and ran my hands along his body.

He led me to his bed and sat me down, his hands floating above the fire-charred wings on my back. I breathed in pleasure as he started to touch his metallic hand on my back, sending shivers up my spine.

His smooth, clear voice rang out from behind me, sending me into a flurry of emotions.

Shiro chuckled and pulled my body closer to his warm one.

I giggled as he firmly kissed my lips, laughter erupting from both of our mouths. Shiro and I looked into each others' eyes.

"I will stand by you."

Our two lips met, pressing against one another in a lovesick manner. I wrapped my arms around his neck and tilted my head to the side, making the kiss deeper. He wrapped his arms around my waist, and slipped his tongue into my mouth.

"Mmph~" The soft smacking noises of the slow make-out filled the room as our lips moved in sync. I separated, happily looking at my lover. He smiled at me, grey eyes reflecting moving tears.

"I don't care about the scars..."

"Just show me what you have."

"And I don't really care a lot for beauty,"

"It's just underneath your skin."
