It was freezing. The wind howled, and the snow pattered to the ground. She lay in the snow, helpless. Her coat had been stained purple, but it was the only one she had, so she wore it anyway.
She feared she would end up like all the others. Lifeless in the snow. Blood warm against the ice. The killer lived on amongst the ice-bergs, no police could capture him.
However, given the circumstances, she was safe. She wouldn't be harmed.
