Jung Hoseok-

I watched as they played together, carefully shaping the doorway of the sandcastle on the wet sand.

"Appa! Look at what we built!" Joon said proudly. It had already been five years since I adopted them as my own children. That's what Hyeri would have wanted.

I held their hands as we walked together on the beach. Well, it was more like they were running ahead of me while I watched them. Jinri and Joon bent down to pick something up.

"Appa! What is this?" Jinri said as she held up a shiny purple object. Joon held up a blue object. They dropped it in my hands and I gasped in shock. It was the purple and blue keychains that Hyeri and I had thrown. Did you see that Hyeri? We were true lovers after all.

"So what is it, Appa?" Joon asked curiously. He poked his chubby, little finger at the keychains.

"I'll tell you when you're older." I said with a chuckle. We continued to walk down the beach together.

But one day, I'll have to tell them. I have to tell them about the adventures Hyeri and I had. About all the memories we made. About all the feelings we felt.

Maybe in the end, there is such a thing as a happy goodbye.
