Chapter Thirty-Five

We sat next to Max on the bleachers.

"Hey, Maxwell..." Layla started off saying

"Max, but continue."

"This is Nadia."

"Hi, I'm the goofy one." Max said

"Okay, cool."

"Sorry, he's weird." Layla said

"Chocolate?"

"No thank you."

Collin ran over here. He drunk his water & wiped his forehead.

Nadia started blushing.

"Girl are you okay?" Max asked

"Oh me? Yeah, I'm fine, totally fine."

"She's a blusher." I said

Collin sat his water down.

"Hi." I said

"Hey." He said

He smiled at me and put his shirt back on.

"Hi, Collin." Nadia said

"We know each other?"

Max laughed, Layla hit his chest.

"Ow!"

I smiled and shook my head. Focusing my attention back on Nadia and Collin. 

"Yeah, from camp and well, here at school. We talked all the time."

"Oh. Cool, hi."

They were about to hug but then Collin stopped.

"Eh, I'm sweaty." He said

"Oh yeah."

Mr. Moshe (gym teacher) made us exercise for the rest of the gym class. When gym was over Collin ran over to me.

"Alright, guys I'll check up with you later."

"Bye Collin."

"Bye, Bella."

I started pointing to my cheek.

Collin kissed my cheek, I blushed.

"Wait for me." Max said

"You like staring at him huh?" I asked

"I wish he'd kiss me on the cheek." Nadia said

I chuckled.

"Yeah."

Later at the diner:

"Hey, where is Nadia?" Max asked

"We just got here." I said

"Yeah like an hour ago."

"It was literally 3 minutes ago Max."

Nadia walked in. She sat really close next to Collin. He moved over a bit.

"So how is everyone?" Nadia asked

"Flip the script. How are you?" I asked

"Oh, I'm fine."

"I'm so glad my dad is gone." Collin said

"Don't you..." I started off saying until Nadia started laughing.

"Oh my god, you are so funny."

She touched his arm. Max & Layla shook their heads.

"No, I'm serious." Collin said

"I know."

"It's not that funny Nadia." Layla said
