Welcome to the PRESEASON ELIMINATION ROUND of the 2018 Waste The Night Awards!
During his first round, judges will read the FIRST TWO chapters of each story in their category. Judges will fill out an assessment form and your host, AudreyEve will then compile and evaluate each one. The TOP 10 stories will move onto Round Two (Midseason Elimination).
Judges who are evaluating in the BEST STORY DESCRIPTION / COOLEST COVERS / AMAZINGTRAILERS will not be judging entries till the end of the competition.
All Round One stories have been placed into 4 separate reading lists on the Waste The Night profile for judge's convenience.

The Preseason Round will will last between 3-4 weeks to ensure judges have ample time to read the first two chapters of each story in their category. Before the Top 10 stories are posted to the public, judges will be given this information first via PM.
Because there are some categories with less than 12 stories, they will follow an altered version of the award process. I honestly didn't have the heart to take away those categories because I believe in my soul that those categories are real important, and what make WASTE THE NIGHT unique from all the other award competitions out there.
