Want to enter your story into the 2018 WASTE THE NIGHT AWARDS? Read over and follow these rules. Do you want to be a judge too? There will be a set of judges rules in a different chapter. And yes, you may both participate, and judge the competition. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to comment, or to send over a PM.

➊You MUST follow this account and add this book to your library to keep up with all updates!
➋Authors can nominate their own books, or readers can tag their favorite authors to encourage them to enter.
⇢update. As of Saturday, February 17th, you may NOW nominate any 5SOS story from any author -- all we ask is that you please inform the author that you've nominated their story to keep them in the loop! :)
➌You can only nominate one (1) book per category, but you can nominate the same book up to three (3)different categories. Putting a cap to how many categories a book can be nominated in, is to make sure one book is not taking up too many slots.

➍ The nominated book MUST have at least 10 completed & published chapters, NOT including summaries, author's notes, cast lists, etc. There will be a couple categories, in which a story must be completed, but will be noted in the category description.
⇢Short stories can be 10 chapters or less, but MUST be completed. ⇢"Imagine" books cannot be nominated
➎ The story MUST be 95% written in English. If the story nominated contains phrases / a few paragraphs in a different language throughout the book, that is perfectly fine.
⇢I apologize to international 5SOS fanfiction authors who write in a different language. As someone who advocates for POC representation in stories, I greatly apologize for any inconvenience.

➏Mature content is allowed. This includes graphic violence, vulgar language, and sexual themes. However, the mature narratives must make sense within the story and its characters. Use your own discretion to decipher whether or not the content is tasteless or not.

➐ ANY genre is welcome to enter. So whether it's an action-filled story, a romantic comedy, or even a paranormal coming-of-age book, as long as 5SOS is your subject then it is eligible to enter.
➑ Respect your judges and your host, AudreyEve . Please no bribing any of the judges in attempt to boost your story. Doing so will result in automatic disqualification.
➒ If you have ANY issues, concerns, complaints please direct them in a classy, kind manner. Cyberbullying will NOT be tolerated. Those comments will be deleted and you will automatically be disqualified.
