The next day at volleyball club, as Ayana set out to leave, she could hear rapid footsteps behind her. She knew it was Bokuto but continued a little faster yet in vain because Bokuto was quick.
"Ayana-chan!" he exclaimed.
"Bokuto-san!" Ayana exclaimed forcing a smile.
There was silence.
"So you're finally dating Hisaya," she exclaimed.
"Yeah," Bokuto replied. There was just an awkward silence as the two continued walking until they got home.
As Ayana laid on her bed, all she could do was cry.
