Monday Evening: Lunch

"Hi, Bella and her friend." Kamiya said

"It's Layla."

"Are you mad at me Bella?"

"Why would I be mad?" I said while swirling my fruit around with a folk.

"Because I kissed Collin. I didn't know that you like him."

"I don't and I typically don't care."

"You kissed him."

"A friendly kiss." I slowly said

Layla rolled her eyes.

"So is it okay if I ask him to the Halloween formal?"

"There's no such thing." Layla said

"At this school, there is such a thing."

"Don't you date Jake?"

"No, we broke up again."

"No, you can't ask Collin out." Layla said

"Why should I listen to you?"

"Because he already has a girlfriend.'"

"What? Who? You!?"

"She doesn't go here." Layla said

"Oh, I'll find out who."

"Why are you so interested in Collin?" I asked

"Maybe because I found interest in him."

"Since when?"

"She thinks you like him and you aren't not telling her." Layla said

"Of course not you're my friend."

"Really?" Layla asked

"Yeah and by the way I told Jessica about Collin being in your room." Kamiya said

"WHAT!?" I yelled

"No big deal she promised not to say anything."

"Why would you tell her?"

"She asked for something to talk about."

"You're lying." Layla said

"Shut up Layla I'm not."

"No, you shut up."

"Toodles."

Kamiya blew a kiss and walked away.

"I can't believe she did that."

"She's a snake Bella, you'll realize it soon."

"Everything was slowly coming to an end."

"I know right."

"Jessica might have told Daisy and Daisy has a big mouth." I said

"Why would you say that?"

"Because she does."

"I know that I'm asking why would you think Jessica told Daisy?"

"Because Jessica and Daisy are apparently best friends now."

"Shit."

"Come with me."

"Where?"

"To talk to Jessica."

"Okay after I finish my food."

"Your food isn't going anywhere."

I grabbed her hand and we walked to Jessica's table.
