Our Friendship

Our Friendship

I love our friendship,

With it we shall never be alone.

We'd laugh, we'd scream

This could only be a dream

We'd share, we'd care

Someone to be there

This could never end.

But it did, that awful day,

They sent you away.

We said good-byes

I didn't cry.

Time went by,

Longing for time together,

I gave up, lost hope,

til that day, that vibrant day,

They said you were back,

here to stay.

Time was not lost, merely missed,

now we will never be parted.
