The life I give
By: Brianna MacLean
I thought I was real,
I thought I could feel,
I thought I could look up to you,
But you teach me to steal,
I've seen all these lies,
I can only wonder why,
As I look up to the skies,
I see broken lives,
I've tried to move on,
But no one has won,
Each day I was shunned,
So I pull out this gun,
I live just to kill,
It gives me this thrill,
It helps me live,
Just like I once did,
So read this now,
As I have taken my bow,
You see I am no more,
Just another closed door,
You read my sorrow,
But it only begins tomorrow.
