Zaleria ran into the forest, she held her bow in her hand. It was around 3 o'clock so it was her time for hunting. The other elves think she can't hunt, they think she can't kill. But she's going to show them she is worth it. Right now, around 3 o'clock, it's her day, her time.

She's spotted a white deer. She really has to focus right now. 1, 2, 3, now! She let go of the arrow.
She missed. The deer ran away, and Zaleria just stood there, totally blown away of the fact she had missed the deer. How? It was like the arrow just flew away to an other direction. Now she has to go home, the lecture was going to be awful, she knew it. She tried to walk as slow as she could, how was she going to fix this? She couldn't come home like this, she failed at
hunting again! Zaleria really needed a miracle right know, why couldn't she just be normal. Then, she heard a sound. She quickly turned around. The sun was shining and the light was really bright, she almost fell over. "Hello?!" She shouted. She looked around, maybe she saw somebody.  No response, but she really had the feeling someone was there..? What is is this? Could this day be any worse?

Once home, in Triran;
"Zaleria darling? Are you home?" Her mother asked. Zaleria kept quiet. What should her mother say to her? She failed again.
She walked into the room. "The roof broke again." Said her mom.

Zaleria had to get some wood to repair the roof, yesterday's storm was really heavy, most of the houses in Triran were half gone. Many trees fell over, and all their food that they made was gone too.
Because all of the houses are gone the whole village is completely stressed out.
While Zaleria saw the fallen trees, she heard a strange voice again. It was like someone was telling her to stop.So she stopped. Her legs couldn't move. The sky was still a bit grey in the village, the sun wasn't as bright as in the forest. She tried to move her legs, but couldn't. Did she needed to scream for help? Was this some kind of joke?

Zaleria was scared. There was a strange, weird voice in her head. It now told her to go into the forest. It told her to hunt, she failed right? She deserved a second chance. So she ran. She almost went to far, she hadn't any breath left. Finally she stopped, she breathed heavily.
All of the sudden she saw something white, there was a bright kind of light, she looked at it and she fell over. The voice now told her to keep looking at the light. She wasn't able to move anything besides her head.  "What are you?! Who are you?! What do you want?!" She screamed. The voice in her head kept on going, now it told her to grab her bow and arrow.
 She had never been so scared before. It was like something controlled her. The voice kept on going, it sort of screamed.
 It was telling her that she had to aim at the light. Zaleria was confused, but wasn't bale to do anything else, so she held her bow, focused on the light and she counted to 3. Again.
1,2,3! And she let go of the arrow for the second time this day.
The arrow flew away, through the light. For a second Zaleria felt really happy, she aimed right! But that didn't last for long, the arrow came back, with a really high speed.

Then something really weird happened. The voice in her head told her to do nothing, she couldn't do anything. (meanwhile the arrow was just 2 seconds away from her) she just stood there, she focused on the arrow, and nothing else.  She was afraid, but she kept standing there.
Then it was like the pressure was gone, there wasn't a voice, nothing. She thought of the arrow. The arrow! Her focus was gone, one second she looked at the bright shining sun, she realised it was too late. And the arrow hit her.
Zaleria fell on the ground. Red leaves were falling, the smell of forest switched to a smell of blood, the light was gone.

And she didn't wake up.
