"I object! I never did any of the stuff she claims. This is just a publicity stunt," Bill announces, making Brynn sign.

"Y-your honor, I have video evidence. I took it from the security cameras when I was leaving," she holds up a VHS tape, awkwardly twisting her feet. A guard walks over to Brynn to receive the tape from Brynn before giving it to the judge.

---

"Mr. Smith, where were you on the 6th of August?" I'm asked. After the video, I don't know why they need more evidence, but they apparently still need to.

"I was at the hotel I was living at for the show I was on," I answer. There is a device recording this, picking up on everything that I say.

"Did you talk to Ms. Williams at all that day?" I am asked another question.

"I spent all day with here except for when her brother came and said her dad wanted her," I give an honest answer.

"What was your last interaction with Ms. Williams before she cut off connection?" Another question is thrown my way.

"At the time, we were living in the same hotel room. She packed all of her stuff up quickly and broke up with me abruptly when we were having a date upstairs around an hour earlier," I explain, and the person nods.

     "That's all we need."

---

Brynn, her mom, and I sit in a separate side room while the jury makes their final decision. Bill and the rest of them are in a different room, which is most definitely for the best.

"Mom, are you flying back to London tomorrow?" Brynn asks while snuggled into my side.

"Of course. Why would I stay here if you aren't?" Veronica states, running hand through her daughter's hair.

"I don't know," she shrugs, yawning. She's oddly calm right now. This morning, she was a disheveled mess, and now she is cool, calm, and collected.

"I'm for sure going back with you," Veronica clarifies, pulling out her phone.

"Baby, can we have a boy band marathon tonight?" Brynn looks up at me and asks, a little pout on her face.

"Of course. Have you seen the finale yet?" I ask, and she shakes her head.

"I thought I'd get too sad watching it without you," she admits, placing her hand in mine.

"I'm going to go to the bathroom," Brynn's mom awkwardly coughs, walking out of the room. Brynn moves onto my lap and turns around, hugging me.

"Thank you for forgiving and believing me," she rests her head on my shoulder.

"Thank you for not actually pretending to date me," I respond, and she lightly laughs.

"I'm not that good of an actress. This is 100% genuine," she hums, placing her lips on mine. She wraps her legs around my torso and her arms around the back of my neck. I pull her closer, resting my hands on her waist. She starts kissing me harder, pushing me down, so I'm now lying on the couch with her hovering over me while keeping our lips connected.

"Brynn th... wow, okay. The...umm... jury had made up their decision," Veronica walks in on us before quickly walking out.

"We can finish this later," Brynn winks, kissing my nose before getting off of me. She sticks her hand out, and I get up, grabbing her hand afterwards. I quickly wipe all of the lipstick off of my face and she fixes her hair. We walk out, disconnecting our hands before we actually get into the room. I run a hand through my hair.

Bill comes in soon afterwards with his group of people behind him. Suzy looks between her mom, who is distracted, and us before booking it over here. She sprints over and hugs both Brynn and I.

"I love you guys," she hums as her mom starts power walking over and glaring at Veronica.

"We love you too, but you're not supposed to be over here. You have to go over with your mom," Brynn tells her, the smile on her face turning into a frown.

"Okay, but I'll see you after. I promise," she sticks up her pinky finger before running back over. Soon enough, the judge is ready.

"The defendant was found guilty," the judge announces. Out of the corner of my eye, I can see Brynn with a giant smile on her face.

I know nothing about the court system, so if I got any wrong I'm sorry.

Also sorry for no update on Sunday. I had writers block for this story and I was traveling the whole day

Okay, so I've started an elimination book called "the war zone" where it's members from a ton of boy bands randomly put up against each other. The person with the most voted moves on, and the person who outlasts everyone else wins. Go check it out the more people voting the better.

Also, I'm going to start a drew fic in a series when I'm done with this, and I have the intro chapter up
