Chance Perez - Boy Band - Full Audition

Chapter 2 - Part 8

Perrie Edwards POV...
"From Seal Beach California, it's 19 year old Chance Perez." Rita said while looking directly into the camera which is filming the whole show, LIVE!

As soon as he walked out onto the stage with the biggest smile on his face.

He looked into the crowd of the girls and spotted me and Jade, he smiled at us so we gave a supportive smile back at him.

"I'm good, I mean, I'm good." Emma said while holding her hand out. "I think you're great for the band."

"Same here." I said.

I didn't think I talked that loud but Emma turned to look at me and pointed.

"You, I like you." She smiled.

"There you go Chance." Timbaland said while smiling and laughing slightly at Emma.

The music to 'Somebody To Love' by Queen started to play and then Chance started to sing.

When he finished his audition, everyone clapped and applauded him.

I couldn't help but smile.

Throughout his audition, every now and then he would look my way.

"He needs somebody to looooooove." Timbaland tried to imitate how high Chance went with the note.

"Let's see what the Architects thought of your performance." Rita Ora said to Chance while walking towards him. "Shall we start off with...Nick."

"I think there's more too you. Obviously you have the look." Damn right he does. "She loves it." Oh yeah I do. "It's great. I'd be interested in hearing you sing in a different register."

"You seem like you sang with conviction." Timbaland spoke up. "Is this for somebody? What's the reason?"

"Actually, I think if my daughter when I sing this song." Chance replied.

Hold up! He has a daughter. For fuck sake...that means he has a girlfriend. I guess I could do with just being his friend although I was starting to feel like I wanted to be a little bit more than just a friend.

I mean, there is more than just him as the attractive guy. Like, come on...have you seen Drew's jawline?

I think that's why he ended up acting strange around the name 'Brooklyn'. That's probably her name.

I bet she's just as adorable as he is.

"Your daughter gives you confidence?" Timbaland asked as a statement.

"Yes, absolutely." Chance answered while speaking down the microphone.

"My daughter gives me confidence too. So, I relate to that." Chance couldn't help but keep that massive smile on his face.

You can just by looking at this that he really wants to make it into the band and I hope that he does.

"You can be something if you just work on your vocals and control. You have something there." Timbaland said to Chance, voicing his true opinion.

"I'm quickly gonna get a selfi." Emma said while grabbing her phone and standing up, making her way over to Chance and Rita as all of the boys cheered.

"Lucky guy." Nick said to Chance.

"I know right." Chance smiled, laughing lightly.

"Thanks darling." Emma said as she gave Chance a hug.

I need a hug off of him. He looks like he gives really good hugs.

"One-hundred-thousand likes." Nick spoke up.

"Thank you for letting us be in your photo Chance." Rita spoke turning to face Chance.

"Yeah, thank you so much. Oh, my god." Chance thanked.

He sounded like he was out of breath and struggling to talk. That's probably from the shock of Emma and Rita Ora just taking a photo with him. That's lucky.

"Bye Chance." Emma said while waving as Chance left the stage.

All of the guys were cheering.

I looked at all of the other guys as they were cheering and I notice someone there.

That guy...is my ex.
