"Next time, focus on your training, Rivera. Rookie ka pa naman tapos hindi mo inaayos ang pagprapractice mo. Next time if you'll do it again, you'll face harsher punishment, okay?"
"Yes, coach. Sorry." Nakayukong sagot ni Connor Andres matapos ang sinabi sa kanya ng coach nila sa basketball team. Silang dalawa na lang kasi ang nandoon dahil ang ibang teammates niya ay nauna ng umuwi.
After the incident that happened earlier, when he shot the ball at Grayson de Chavez's face instead of the ring, everyone was shocked and pissed at him. Ang supposed to be 5pm na dismissal niya mula sa practice ay naextend ng 30 minutes. Their coach was mad and punished him to run 50 laps around the court. He is still panting and sweating a lot right now.
Umalis na rin ang coach nila at siya na lang naiwan. Humiga naman kaagad si Connor sa sahig ng court. He was still panting so hard while looking up to the ceiling.
"Fucking motherfucker," He suddenly swore. Pagod ang inabot niya dahil sa ginawa niya kay De Chavez. If only he met him outside and not inside the court, he won't get sanctioned by their coach. But the fucker still really has the decency to show up - together with Maddison again.
Napapikit na lang siya. Ang sakit talaga ng buong katawan niya. Buti nga eh hindi siya nahimatay sa kakatakbo.

He immediately opened his eyes when he heard a familiar voice. Napaupo naman agad siya at iniangat ang ulo niya.
"Maddison Grace?" He said confusingly when he saw Maddie standing beside him, "I thought you already went home."
Kanina kasi ay kasama ito ni De Chavez na pumunta sa clinic dahil dumugo na naman ang ilong nito mula sa pagtama ng bola. He even heard her the De Leon brothers na pupuntahan nito si Maddison - so he thought she went home together with her siblings.
Huminga naman ito ng malalim at tinalikuran siya, "Fix your things. We're going home." She just said as she started walking. Connor shook his head and stood up. Kaagad naman niyang pinuntahan sa bleacher ang varsity bag niya at inayos iyon. After, he quickly followed Maddie who was just waiting for him at the gym's door.
"Akin na bag mo," He told her the moment when he was already beside her. It was his routine gesture na dalhin ang mga gamit nito. Buntis kasi ito at ayaw niyang masyado itong mapagod.
"No, ako na rito," She replied without even a hint of annoyance, "I bought a bottled water. Nilagay ko sa bag mo. Drink it." She added calmly as she started to walk again.
Napatigil naman siya. He raised an eyebrow in amusement. Himala. He even thought the witch will be so mad at her because of what he did to Grayson. But what she's acting right now, it's the opposite. Maddison Grace was just calm. She wasn't even calling him an idiot or stupid.
