Marie Cousins P.O.V
"You okay?" Richie asked me as I let go of his arm.

"Yes fine. I'll see you later." I said jogging up the stairs.

~time skip~
I ran away from Richie's house and ran down the street and turned onto mine, still running. I jogged up to my room once I got to my home, and dialled Beverly's number.

This time Beverly answered instead of her father.

"Hey It's Marie." I said into the phone.

"Hey girl." Bev said.

"Hey Beverly." I said, realizing I sounded down.

"You okay?"

"Yeah, it's just the clown and Richie."

"Richie?"

"He tried to hold my hand today, and he's been acting really strange, and so has Eddie."

"And the clown?"

"I went to Richie's house today, and we saw the clown."

"Jesus!"

"Yeah. I also saw my worst fear today."

"Hang tight okay? I have to go, I'm almost at my phone talking limit."

"Okay. Bye Bev."

"Bye."

I put the phone back on the hook, and looked out the window at Eddie's place. It made me feel sad for some reason, so I closed the curtains and walked away. I sat down in my bed, and looked up at the ceiling.

I heard a knock on my bedroom door.

I began to whimper a little bit, grabbing my blue blanket and holding it to my chest.

"Marie?" My mothers voice said.

"Come in." I called out, carefully setting the blanket on my bed.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah fine."

~TIME SKIP, SUNDAY MORNING
I woke up and stretched my arms, and a call rang in.

"Hello?" I said into the phone.
"Marie. It's Beverly."
"Hey. You need to come to my place."
"Okay I'll be right over."

I quickly got dressed, and ran downstairs, getting a wick glass of lemonade on the way.

Eddie saw me, so we walked to Beverly's together.

"I hope Bev is okay." I said to Eddie.

"Yeah me too." Eddie replied.

Beverly met us at the front of her place. Everyone was there, expect Richie.
