Barista!Jeonghan

- Jeonghan works as a barista and part-time baker in his friend's café-bakery-confectionery

- he's the main cashier and makes literally the best cinnamon hot chocolate in the world and puts tons of Chan's homemade whipped cream on top and adds cinnamon dusting until it looks like actual art

- he wears the cute white uniform

- the employee uniforms (of which there are only thirteen including the owner) are slightly personalised in terms of which of the café's official colours are used for the aprons, piping, binding, and little neck kerchief and their names are stitched in silver on the breast

- and of course it's up to them whether they want to wear the baker's apron or the barista apron

- he also remembers all the regulars and their orders and is super polite to small children who want to order by themselves

- and he's not usually one to get shy of cute customers but he is absolutely hiding behind the cash register and praying that you only want a coffee and not a pastry or anything

- his luck is out and you ring the bell for assistance at his counter

- he half crawls a safe distance away before composing himself and walking over to his normal spot

- a few feet away behind the coffee bar, from where he could see the entire spectacle, Wonwoo is choking on his own spit from laughing very too hard at his hyung

- Jeonghan gives you a calm smile and asks for your order without royally screwing up

- you order a slice of praline cheesecake and note that you're not sure what to drink

- Jeonghan about falls over when you ask what he would recommend

- he manages not to stutter out his next sentence

- "I make a pretty mean cinnamon hot chocolate."

- you smile and add that to your order, giving him your name so he can call when your drink is done

- which allows Jeonghan to scamper off to make your drink

- you retreat to wait for the hot chocolate, your absurdly well-presented cheesecake safely in hand

- Wonwoo laughs at Jeonghan as the latter makes your hot chocolate, blushing furiously

- when you take your drink with a smile and quiet thanks it's all Jeonghan can do not to hide behind the counter again

- you leave the café with a small wave to him

- Wonwoo laughs uproariously at Jeonghan's fierce blush that makes it look like his face is about to burst into flames

- you come back several times in the next few weeks

- and you've gotta admit you're somewhat getting feelings for the cute barista boy

- his face is always lightly shaded with pink when you enter and it's kinda adorable and also gives you some hope that he might feel the same way maybe?

- meanwhile he's more or less memorised your regular order and it surprises you when he smiles at you one afternoon and asks "the usual, or would you like to change things up today?"

- you, being in desperate need of coffee, change your regular hot chocolate order to a lavender vanilla latte you heard another barista recommending some time ago

- Jeonghan passes that along to the barista on duty and sets about carefully moving a slice of cheesecake onto a plate for you

- when your drink is called, you find a folded piece of paper tucked between cup and saucer

- upon unfolding it you find surprisingly elegant handwriting and a number

- call me? ~ Jeonghan (the cute barista)

- you look up to catch his eye and find him glancing at you shyly

- you smile and nod, pocketing the note

- this is definitely going to be an offer you take him up on.
