- ice-cold Wonwoo is well known
- sarcastic, unapproachable, and uncomfortably attractive
- tall and lean and with an air of disdain that follows him like a cloud
- he has this way of looking over his wire-framed glasses that can make even the bravest of people quail
- one eyebrow arched, eyes half-lidded, and lip curled in disgust
- and while he's never done anything to provoke attack
- he's certainly not well liked
- his grades are among the highest in the school, and he's always seen with a book in his hand
- your first encounter with him was...
- memorable, to say the least
- you had fallen at his feet out of the tree you had been scrambling up and immediately shoved him down as you literally vaulted his head and ran
- a few moments later, four bulky guys ran past, looking out for blood
- so Wonwoo's been intrigued by you for quite some time
- however, he knows what it would do to his reputation if he approached you first
- so he's casually waiting for you to come to him
- and so what if you don't?
- it's no big deal to him
- your attention is first drawn to him a few months after you shoved him over
- he appears in class with a bandage taped to his cheek and the sourest expression you've ever seen a human make
- "did pretty boy get in a fight?" someone calls from across the room
- "yes, and I won, thank you," Wonwoo snaps
- there's muttering and gasping throughout the whole room
- he scowls through the whole class
- but you catch the slight tinge of nervousness in his face as the end of the school day approaches
- and you know that you really shouldn't
- but you follow him after school
- he makes his way to a secluded area just off the school grounds
- and you happen to know that people outside can hear almost nothing from the people in this spot
- so you do what you do best and climb a tree
- Wonwoo's standing in front of four guys you unfortunately know all too well
- it seems they've given up on you and decided to switch targets
- when they approach, it almost looks like...
- like Wonwoo is letting them beat him up
- but then you catch the subtle shift of his weight, the sudden spark in his dark eyes
- and before you know it the four dudes are on the ground groaning in pain
- Wonwoo spits on the ground, scrunching his nose in disgust
- "I hope you've learned something," he says
- and he casts your tree a glance and a slight smirk before walking off calmly
- you seek him out in the library a few days later
- when he hears you coming he quite literally slams his book shut and stuffs it into his backpack as if guilty
