Goddess (Zetsu x reader)

1. This strange man

This story is dedicated to Jersie. It was requested by @small_deadinside, I hope you have a merry Christmas.

I walk down the path, trees move out of my way, clearing my path. I stop and bow to them. They bow back and I send them a small smile as I continue my journey towards the village. I sigh at the thought of it, my fists clench. One thing I can not stand about this world is that it is full of humans. I hate them, I hate them all. I grit my teeth and calm myself as the forest spirits show themselves (A/n: They are the ones from the movie princess Mononoke, I recommend it if you haven't seen it. Its made by Studio Ghibli, the best animation studio out there!). They walk ahead of me, showing me the way to the opening of the forest. I walk out into the sun and turn around to bow to the forest spirits. They disappear back into the forest leaving me alone. I continue my walk, I needed to pick up a few things while I was here. I fan my face slightly, it was a very hot day and wearing bandages wasn't the best idea. But these humans, these pests aren't worthy to look upon my markings. I sigh as I begin seeing people, the village is near. I take a deep breath and push on, I need to gather supplies from here even if I must walk among this filth.

The Akatsuki's POV

Pein looked over his group. Deidara and Sasori were arguing, Tobi was crying for Deidara's attention, Hidan was annoying Kakuzu while he was counting his money. Itachi was reading, Kisame was talking to Itachi who was completely ignoring him, Konan was folding paper flowers and Zetsu sat by himself underneath a tree. Pein gritted his teeth. "All of you, pay attention!", he yells. The group all turn and look at him, startled. "We are just outside the village where the woman was seen, please pay attention. All we know is that she has unexplainable powers so don't let your guard down and her body is covered in bandages". The group nod and begin taking off their cloaks. They sealed them in a scroll and handed it back to Pein. "Now make sure to ask people but don't look suspicious while doing so, we can't let it be known we are looking for her". The group responds with a nod and the partners head out in hopes of locating the woman.

 White Zetsu watched as the other pairs walked away, unfortunately for him he was stuck with Tobi. "Is Zetsu-senpai ready to go?", Tobi asks excitedly. He nods and stands. The venus fly trap that usually wrapped around his body disappeared and left him feeling exposed. His black side snickered, causing him to frown. Zetsu walked into the village with Tobi running behind him. He let out a long sigh, trying to ignore Tobi's childish antics. "Shut up brat", his black half snaps at Tobi. The masked man cowers and manages to quiet down. They walk into the village and see many people, all of them stare at him with judging eyes. He felt vulnerable, self conscious. His black side snickers once again. "You've become soft", he says accusingly. White Zetsu glares at his other side and keeps walking but something stops him. He turns his head and sees someone walk up to a small jewellery stall. Her (h/l) (h/c) hair was tied back in a high ponytail, her entire body was covered in bandages. People stared at her as if she was a freak, but Zetsu couldn't help but feel drawn to her. He was barely human but what was left seemed to pull him closer to her. The girl turned and saw him, her eyes filled with curiosity. He hadn't realized it but he had began walking towards her. Over her bandages she wore a simple singlet and a pair of shorts, on her feet was a pair of wooden sandals. Her large (e/c) eyes seemed to stare right into his soul. He opened his mouth to speak but nothing seemed to come out. The girl sudden ran off, leaving him standing there by himself in the middle of the street. His black side scoffed. "What was that about? That was the girl we're looking for you idiot". White Zetsu nods and disappears into the ground, leaving a confused Tobi alone.

Zetsu appears next to Pein and Konan. "We've found her" he says. Pein nods and turns to Konan. "Call the others back, we'll pursue her together".

Your POV

I sat underneath a tree, flowers bloomed as my skin came in contact with it. So many different colors, it put a smile on your face. This was art, this life. A flower that was the purest shade of white grew up and next to it was one that was the darkest shade of black. I reminded me of someone, the strange man in the village. Was he human? If so why did he look this way? Was he one person or two? I couldn't help but wonder and he looked at me with curiosity rather than hate. Does he know about me? I asked myself so many questions but then my wonder turned to hate. He was human, I hate humans. I glares at the flowers and ripped them from the earth. I adsorbed every last drop of nutrience from them and watched as the once beautiful flowers turned dry lifeless. I crushed them to dust in my fist and watched as the fragments blew away in the wind. I refuse it all. Humans are parasites and I will rid of them all.

I promised myself I wouldn't start another story but this is an exception. I was asked to write this for small_deadinside's sister, Jersie.
