Chapter 1: First day

"Oi ! You're running too fast !" 

Some blue-haired guy said. You don't know his name,but it seemed like you two are close to each other. "Slow down !" You yelled. He just ran faster. You tried chasing,but of course,you failed. You tripped on a rock and it made a small cut on your knee. The boy stopped,skidding and looking at you.

You started crying,watching it bleed. You were always afraid of blood. He ran back to you,then wiped your tears off. "Hey hey,don't cry.. It's fine,I'll handle it." He smiled,then took a band-aid from his pocket. He placed the band-aid on the cut,then patted your head. "There there. It's all gone. Stop crying." He smiled. You looked up at him,then smiled back. "Thank you,Bla—"

"OI OI ! WAKE UP !" Your partner,Haruto,shook you awake. You blinked,then looked at him. "Huh…" You mumbled. "You idiot… We'll be late at the first day of school !" He scolded. You sighed. "I was dreaming of a thing that I guess that happened in my past…" You mumbled. Haruto's expression softened,looking at you. "Oh ? What is it ?" He asked. "Well… Me as a kid,and a blue haired guy playing race I guess.. Then I tripped and made a cut on my knee. Then the blue haired guy helped me. I was about to say his name but you interrupted." You crossed your arms. Haruto sighed. "Well… You'll know all of those someday. For now,just get ready for school. We are going to the academy now." He smiled,then went outside your room. You just scratched your head,sighing. "Neh… I wonder who that is. We seem so close to each other." You shrugged,then stood up to get ready for school.

Wonder why you can't remember ? It's simple. 10 years ago,you woke up in a hospital bed. Not knowing anything else. Even your name. Nurses said that your whole family died in a car accident on your way home. And you're the only one who survived,just because you were in your father's arms and protected you from the explosion,causing him,your mom,and a brother of yours to die. Your family had savings,and in your young age of six,the money saved you. Amnesia is the cause of your memory loss. Then there's this kid who got lost in your room,which was Haruto Hajimaru. He saw your name in your information bracelet,that atleast. Then his family decided to keep you with them,until you both decided to go to the dwma,after unlocking Haruto's skills of changing to a halberd.

Back to reality. You started walking as Haruto locked the door. "You seem to be deep in thought. What's wrong ?" He asked. You looked at him as he went beside you,then sighed. "Nothing.. But that blue-haired guy… Something's telling me that he's important to me…" You mumbled. Haruto just laid a hand on your shoulder. "Aye aye. You'll figure it out at the right time. For now,focus on the future." He smiled. You smiled back,then nodded. "You're right." You shrugged.

As soon as you both finished the stairs,which weirdly didn't gave you both hardships because of talking to each other,you heard a guy yell from the gates.

"HAHA ! HERE COMES THE NEW COMERS !"
