"What do you need Addie?" Jeremiah asks as soon as I flop down on the couch.
"I've been looking all over town for someone, but I can't find them," I sigh, resting my head on his shoulder. He laughs before wrapping one of his arms around me and hugging me.
"Aww Addie. Who are you looking for?" he asks with a laugh.
"My friend's ex," I answer vaguely. Brynn doesn't want people knowing about it, and even though Jeremiah deserves to know, I have to keep this private.
"Which frie...," Jeremiah starts before getting cut off.
"You never told me you had a girlfriend," I jump up and turn towards the person who said that. Standing there is a gorgeous human being with piercing blue eyes and dimples that could kill anyone, Michael Conor.
"She's not. She's just one of my best friends," Jeremiah laughs as I slowly move away.
"Sure. I'm Michael. I met Jeremiah at a birthday party," he sends Jeremiah a knowing look as I am in complete shock. The guy I've been looking for for the past week is friends with my best friend. Only if I had known this sooner.
"Oh my gosh I hated you so much before you showed up to that party," Jeremiah admits.
"Why?" Michael laughs.
"Because I saw a cute girl sitting alone in the corner, and I was like 'this is my chance to finally get a girl' but then she told me she had a boyfriend. I was so jealous of you, but then I met you, and you were cool," Jeremiah tells him.
"I remember that day so vividly," Michael admits with a small smile on his face. How did Brynn even manage to get this guy as her boyfriend? She is a jerk to everyone besides like five people, and that's only because we know her. How did she get this guy, of all guys, to fall for her? From the live streams I've watched and right now, he is perfect and wouldn't put up with the trash Brynn would throw at him.
"Wait you two met at a birthday party? Didn't you meet Brynn at a birthday party also?" I ask Jeremiah, looking up at him. Suddenly, it all clicks. Jeremiah saw Brynn at the party, sitting alone. He went over to her, but at the time, she was dating Michael. That's how Brynn and Jeremiah know each other. Michael and Jeremiah look at each other awkwardly.
"It's a... long story," Michael runs a hand through his hair.
"I have time," I smile innocently, linking my arm through Jeremiah's.
"Oh look at the time. I have to get to the studio. It was fun seeing you Jeremiah. It was nice meeting you Addie," Michael waves, putting on a burgundy sweatshirt over a plain white shirt.
"I have one question," I speak up. I need to get some sort of information about his current feelings on Brynn. Michael turns around, his bright blue eyes catching me off guard.
"Of course," he responds, looking back at me.
"Umm...h-how are your eyes s-so gorgeous?" I blurt. Oh, nice going Addie. He laughs lightly in response.
"Contacts, my eyes are naturally brown," he responds before walking through the door. As soon as he leaves, Jeremiah starts hysterically laughing.
"Oh my god that was hilarious. You should have seen your face," he falls off the couch and starts rolling on the ground.
"Stop," I groan, covering my face.
"Someone has a cruuuush," he teases me as soon as he stops laughing.
"Do not," I protest, crossing my arms.
"Adddddiiieeee likes Miiiichaeeel," he hums, rubbing the top of my head.
"I couldn't," I inform him, but he raises an eyebrow.
"Yeah cause 'h-how are your eyes s-so gorgeous?' isn't a tip off," he makes fun of me in a friendly manner.
"I couldn't because he dated my best friend," I protest, and he looks shocked.
"How did you find out? Brynn didn't want you to know," he asks quizzically.
"It's not that hard when that's all her fans talk about," I raise an eyebrow. He sighs.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you. She made me promise," Jeremiah gives me a hug.
"It's not your fault," I let him know.
"And if you actually like him, it's okay. They're both over each other," he tells me.
"Can I have a favor?" I ask him. He looks at me.
"Of course," he responds.
"Can you get Michael to come over soon? I need to ask him for help with something?" I ask, and Jeremiah nods.
"Of course."

MERRY EARLY CHRISTMAS MY DUDES! I'm sorry for no update two nights in a row. I had a Christmas party to go to as well as seeing IRL the next night.
It was beautiful😭 We got to meet them, and then we were in the front row. I won't go on cause that'd be waaaay to long.
Okay so one of my friends, @kaityj01 made a cool elimination game on wattpad. Every 24 hours, you get one vote to send off one guy. In the end, there will be one boy left. It's called "The Boy Band Elimination Game!!" I'd be so happy if you guys go do that. I'll be looking for people who vote for the boy they want to be eliminated and will dedicate chapters to them.
