Steve looked out the window smiling softly remembering old Christmas traditions he use to do with you when you where little .
He looked at the door just as you were coming in from playing in the snow with your friends , he smiled T you "hey (y/n) how was the snow fall fight ?" He asked getting up from his chair
"Well okay , but Jenn had to go to the er . She slipped on the ice hitting her was , so Isaacs parents took all of us home " you said taking off your snow suit and coat reveling jeans and a grinch sweater "but she's okay just a bad headache , so pop what did you do while I was gone?" You asked handing up your snow gear
"Well I sat in the comfy chair and thought about old memories ,"he said getting two mugs of hot chocolate.
"Oh ? You've been sitting there for two hours ? What kind of memories ?" You asked sitting on the couch wiyh a big fluffy blanket over you
He walked over sitting with you giving you , your hot chocolate "Well I was thinking about all the old Christmas traditions we use to do "he said softly
"Like what?" You asked putting your mug on the table moving closer to him snuggling into his side
He smiled putting a arm around you holding you close "Like when we would sit on the couch and read the Christmas story from the bible then watch Christmas movies " he said looking out the window again
You looked at the window as well , you hugged Steve tightly "pop, do you miss grandma ?" You asked looking at him
He looked at you giving you a small sad smile "everyday kiddo , but I'm happy to make memories with you and my new family here "he said kissing your forehead
You smiled "will you tell me about her ?" You asked sweetly
Steve chuckled "of course "he said . He held you as he began to tell you everything about Christmas with his mom , the two of you stayed like thay all night him telling you about his mom while you listened to him .
