Short Songfic Contest

                   Okay, guys. I have something to admit, I haven't been motivated at all to write. That's why I've taken such a long break. So, to get me motivated, I've decided to put on a little contest. I'll be the judge, and we will all write short stories. Here is the information that you will need:

It can be any genre you'd like out of these four: Fiction, Fanfiction, Realistic, or Realistic Fiction.

As the title says, the contest is for songfics! Choose a song of your liking, and make it into a story.

Going along with the last line, the songfic is a story that you make that has the same meaning as your song. Which means, whatever song you choose, you have to know the meaning of it to write the songfic.

Put the name of your song, the artist, and the overall meaning of the song at the beginning.

You will write this story on your account and send me a link to it using your Inbox.

It can be mature or kid-friendly. (By mature, I mean cussing. No more than that, please.)

This songfic can't be more than one part, and must go along with the overall meaning of the song.

It doesn't have to include lyrics, or lines, from the song. But, it does have to be based upon the song you chose.

If you don't want to use your Inbox, then your other option is to tag me in it. Then, I will get the notification and read your story.

I, also, have written a story of my own. It will not take part in the contest. But, it will be an illustration of the layout of the songfic. I will put the name of it down below, but you can also just go to my account and find it there.

The name of your story does not have to be the name of your song. But, it can.

If you have chosen fanfiction, then you have to tell me where the characters are from. Whether it be from a TV Show, a Movie, or even something off of YouTube. I must know.

Put Songfic Contest at the very top so that I know you haven't just gotten an old songfic or something that you wrote in the past. We are all making this from scratch.

Last, but certainly not least, the winner of the contest gets not only a shout out in the sequel to this story. But, they will also get their story put in my new one-shot book that my songfic will be in. All credit, of course, will go to the songfic's original author.
