we finally arrived home, i took off my shoes and sprinted upstairs.

when i saw her sprint upstairs, i felt confused. why is she so distant? i could hear her slamming her bedroom door.
"is she okay?" her mom asked.
"yeah, why?" i replied.
"seeing by the way she went upstairs, i don't think she is." she said.
"doesn't she always do that?" i questioned out of my curiousity.
"no, she rarely does that. besides she used to be a really happy girl. i have no idea what happened now." her mom explained. i sighed.
