Someone asked about the caste system to it's above ^

I opened my eyes and instantly groaned, placing a hand on the side of my head as it ached from what I guessed was a concussion

I blinked, my eyes adjusting to the dim light in the room I was in. I momentarily forgot what had happened, but when I looked down at my red dress that I still had on, I remembered everything

Fresh tears prickled at the back of my eyes as I thought about the betrayal of trust, but I held them back. I needed to find out where I was, who was with me and how to get out

My eyes finally adjusted to the light and I was greeted with a room that made my hopes sink. I was most defiantly not in the palace, or anywhere I had been before. The walls seemed to be made out of cobblestone, water dripping down one wall and splashing onto the dirty stone ground. The ceiling was rock, and half the wall to my right were metal bars, just like a prison cell. The rest of the wall was the same cobblestone as the others. A metal circle was attached to the wall, which I guessed was a very disgusting toilet. There was a small torch on the outside of the, I guessed was a prison cell, that illuminated the room in a pathetic manner. It smelt like dirt and grime, and when I turned around I was restricted by a metal chain locked around my arm, tying me to the wall

The chain rattled as I tugged at it, seeing if it would budge. Where the hades was I? How long had I been out? Where was Luke? But it did not, so I slumped against the wall and assessed the damage done to my body

My feet were cold and bare, the bottom of the dress ripped. My skin was dirty and at that moment I so badly wanted to have a shower, and I had been here for what I guessed was little time. I carefully placed my hand on my stab wound on my back and I was surprised to find it felt padded

In an awkward movement, I was able to see down the side of my dress and was shocked to see white bandages wrapped around my stomach, which I guessed covered the stab wound on my lower back and the cut on my side

I felt my face and was not surprised to feel dried blood dripping down my cheek, or feel the sting as my fingers slid across a nasty gash on my other cheek

I looked up at the ceiling still not believing the situation I was in. How had I gotten from worrying about if my best friend was in love with me to being betrayed and stabbed by one of my closet friends, locked up in a prisons cell, in another country for all I knew? Luke had to have planned it, had to have thought about it. How long though? Is this by what he meant when he said he had committed more crimes than I knew?

What's going to happen? Will he kill me? Hold me for ransom? Will I escape? And if I do will Luke be killed for treason?

As a tear slid down my cheek my thoughts turned to Percy. Is he safe? Has he realised I'm gone? Guilt and worry will eat him alive

I realised that I had so many questions and not enough answers

In quite a lot of pain, I leaned against the wall to help me stand up. As far as I could walk without the chain tugging at me, I ran my hands over the walls and floor to try and find a latch, or hidden handle. Anything to get me out of the room. I looked for a window or another door and couldn't find one. Just out of reach from the lock on the prison cell door, I studied it from afar to see if I could break it

But what was after that door? Was someone guarding me and listening to me struggle? Am I above ground? Underground? Under the sea?

The sound of footsteps suddenly came from further away and panicked I stood flat against the part of the wall next to the door, hoping that if someone was going to come into the room I could jump at them from the back
