Chunin Exams {part 4}

(y/n)'s POV

I run my fingers through my hair and sigh.

"You ready to fight?" I ask, looking at Gai.

"Of course!" He smiles brightly.

I look at the announcer.

"Let the battle begin!"

Obito's POV

"I thought you said she wasn't good at Taijutsu?!" I say, shaking Kakashi.

"You watch her enough to know if I'm lying or not." Kakashi shrugs.

I feel heat rush up to my cheeks.

"I DON'T WATCH HER!" I yell, pushing Kakashi away.

"Sure you don't."

I feel something poke my shoulder. I turn around and see Rin.

"What's up, Rin?" I ask, suddenly being calm.

"People are watching." She smiles slightly.

I look around and see a crowd of people around us.

"Good job, idiot." Kakashi growls.

I stay silent, my blush probably worsening.

(y/n)'s POV

I wipe some blood off of my lip and glare at Gai. I take my headband off from around my neck and re-tie it around my head.

"What would that help?" Gai questions, panting.

I shrug and smile, suddenly disappearing.

"Thanks, Minato!" I whisper, looking down at Gai from one of the roofs.

I go into my pouch and grab a chocolate ball.

"And thanks, Kushina!" I whisper again, putting my the chocolate in my mouth.

After I swallow the chocolate, I feel my heart rate increase. I also see (f/c) chakra surround me. I nod to myself and teleport behind Gai.

"Keep up, loser." I whisper into his ear.

I watch him turn around, then teleport behind him again.

"I thought you were fast." I say, crossing my arms.

"I-I am!" He growls, turning around, only to see no one there.

"Oh really?" I ask, teleporting behind him.

"Yes!" He shouts, quickly turning around and kicking my side.

I bite my tongue and hold my side. Gai takes this opportunity to try and hit me more. I wait for the pain, only to get nothing.

"Huh..?" I ask, my voice whispered.

"What?!"

I nod, slowly looking up at Gai, smirking evilly. He slowly backs away, eyes widened. I run at him, scratching his shoulder with my new claws.

"Ow!" He yells.

I tackle Gai, sitting on his stomach and shoving my elbow into his throat.

"Give up yet?" I ask, smiling.

"N-no..!" He answers.

I shake my head and get off him, teleporting around the arena. Once he gets up and starts trying to pin point where I am, I teleport behind him and use my Bijuu's power to quicken my pace.

"SHIAAA!!" I yell, punching the back of Gai's head.

I watch his body fly across the arena, laying in the grass.  A couple seconds pass and Gai hadn't gotten up yet.

"Is..is he dead?" I ask.

The announcer shrugs, going over to Gai's body. I feel the extra chakra disappear and wait for an answer.

"(y/n) (l/n) wins!!" The announcer yells.

I hear many cheers, causing a light blush to make its way onto my face. I teleport back to where my team is.

"Good job, (y/n)!!" They all yell.

"Heheh.." I laugh nervously, scratching my neck.

"Hopefully you and Kakashi don't have to fight again.." Rin says.

Kakashi and I look at each other.

"If it does happen, should we both give in?" I ask.

Kakashi shrugs. I cross my arms and wait for an answer.

"Sure."

A couple more fights happen, Kakashi and I winning both our other fights. Rin healed both of us after every fight and now was the last fight.

"Kakashi Hatake versus (y/n) (l/n)!" The announcer yells.

"I GIVE IN!" The two of us yell back.

I hear lots of gasps and decide to ignore them. Lord Third appears on the arena, yelling something about Kakashi and I becoming Chunins.

"No fair!" Obito whines.

"Congrats guys!!" Rin smiles, clapping.

Kakashi and I sigh.

"Well, lets just get this over with.." I whisper, glancing at Kakashi.

"Yeah.."
