Annabeth's selection

1.Intro

   Hi so this is the second book that I write and the other one isn't completed. I will try very hard to update every day but on some fridays and saturdays i cant so then I will make it up to you on Sundays. Please comment and tell others about this book. Their kingdom is Ogygia. All characters that you recognize belong to the one and only Rick Riordan. 

   Annabeth's POV:

       " Mom, dad please don't make me do this! You know how much I hate wearing fancy clothes and having to fall for a guy" I couldn't believe that my parents were making me host this selection so that I can find someone to marry in less than six months1 I was only 19 and they wanted me to marry someone and become queen all in less than half  year.

       " We're sorry honey, but you know we have no other choice, trust us this is what is best for you and for the kingdom" my mother Athena told me.

      " Now come on Annabeth, go and get ready for the Report" my father Fredrick or Fred was telling me.

      I started to walk towards my room to get ready for The Report. The Report is this weekly news  thing that we have to do every Friday.  But this week, on The Report, I am supposed to pick out the men that will participate in the selection. I walked towards my room and my helpers, Hazel, Reyna and Piper brought out a dress that looked very pretty. 

       

       Then they put my hair up in a hairstyle that was a little messy and I asked for a pair of high heel shoes that weren't very formal. 

 After that, i went out of my room and got ready to go to the formal meeting area, which is where all of the Reports take place.

         Then, Apollo, who is the host of the Report called out," Air in 15 sec"

        My parents and i got assigned in my seat along with my younger 9 year old sister Clarisse, who was wearing:

   

       Then Apollo started to say:  "Good Afternoon, all people of Ogygia. Today we will have a brief and small talk about politics and the rest will be taken by our gorgeous princess of Ogygia, Princess Annabeth. Sadly, our very own Prince Malcolm was killed in a rebel attach so as the next heir to the throne, she will be hosting a selection to find a man to marry and become queen. So without further interruptions lets begin"

   Then my mother and father started to talk about the rebel attacks and many other things that I couldn't focus on. I was to nervous about the selection. What if I don't find someone? What if I do something wrong?

   " Now, we will hand over the microphone to Princess annabeth" Apollo said

  " Good Afternoon all people of Ogygia and thank you for supporting me in the selection. I will now choose 35 men randomly from a jar:

     Luke Castellan, 3

     Jason Grace, 5. my thoughts began to spin, wasn't Thalia's last name grace?

    Carlos Devin, 4

     Frank Zhang, 7

     Leo Valdez, 5

    .............after a while, someone's name came up with a picture that i recognized from 2 years ago. No way.... could it be? Will he recognize me?
