Prologue

"Do I really have to watch your game, Kuya?" Maddison complained as she was already going towards the university gym. Kausap niya kasi ngayon sa phone ang nakakatandang kapatid niyang si Arran. Well, all her three older brothers are basketball players in their university. May practice game kasi ito with the other college departments. And yes, her brothers are famous in their school as the De Leon brothers, just only the three of them though. Hindi niya kasi gustong kilala siya ng lahat.
"You have to Maddie," Arran replied to her authoratively. Sa lahat ng kapatid niya, ang Kuya Arran niya ang pinakaclose niya. Although her brothers are all protective of her because she's the only female on their lot, "You promised me on your last birthday. Sige na, magsisimula na ang game in a few minutes. Pumunta ka na kaagad dito. Suotin mo 'yung jersey natin at yung cap. See you, baby girl!" Napailing na lang siya nang ibinaba nito ang phone.
Inayos naman ni Maddison ang cap niya. She was also wearing her brother's jersey shirt - with their De Leon surname written on the front and back. Napabuntong-hininga na lang ulit siya. Kung bakit kasi addict ang mga kapatid niya sa basketball.
Dumating na nga si Maddison sa gym at nakita naman niya ang mga kapatid niya na nasa mga bleachers na sa pinakaharap. Her brothers are representing the College of Engineering department.
Pumunta naman siya sa isa sa mga bleachers sa likod para maupo but before she could even sit, bigla namang may bumangga sa likod niya.
"Shit," She cursed silently nang muntik na siyang ma-out of balance. Nilingon naman agad niya ang lalakeng bumangga sa kanya. Papunta na ito ngayon sa bleachers kung nasaan ang mga kapatid niya. The guy was also wearing the College of Engineering varsity shirt - with a surname Rivera and a number 16 on it. Ni hindi man lang ito nagsorry sa kanya.
"Stupid guy," She rolled her eyes as she finally sat. Of course, kilala niya ang lalakeng iyon. It was the new rookie player of her brothers' team, Connor Rivera. Schoolmate niya iyon 'nung high school siya at hanggang ngayon, schoolmate pa rin niya. Napakamalas.
Napansin naman niyang pinagalitan ng Kuya Arran niya si Connor. Arran is the team captain of the CE basketball team. Yumuko naman si Connor at nag-sorry. She smirked. Buti nga sayo, stupid guy.
Ilang minuto naman ay nagsimula na rin ang game.

"Guys, 7pm at my place," Narinig naman ni Maddie ang Kuya Arran niya nang papalapit na siya rito. Katatapos lang kasi ng game at papunta na siya sa bleachers kung saan ito naroroon. The game was actually quite good although she found some other girls annoying dahil puro 'De Leon brothers anakan niyo kami!!' ang isinisigaw ng iba. College of Engineering basketball team won the practice game too.
