Tomorrow. We leave tomorrow. Why would she want us to leave tomorrow!? We have a child now. She is our priority. I began to cry, because I know that this may kill us and I want to grow up with Tyla. I want to see her when she goes to school, shoots her first gun, gets married, has our first grandchild. I want to be there for her.
Like the parents I never had.
Evelyn was my best friend until she faked her death and left me alone with Marcus for the next 9 years of my life. Then, 11 years after she "died" I found out she was still alive and that since there were no divorce in abnegation, she did it to save herself. She left me alone with my worst fear.
I look down at Tyla. She is a spitting image of Tris. I am happy my child is divergent. She is brave, selfless, and intelligent, and honest, and kind.
Oh why did Tris decide to leave tomorrow?
At least I know she will be in good hands.
