At Noon the family sat to watch Summerslam and Cynthia was forced to watch. She didn't care about the show at all. At Finn's match she didn't look at tv but when Seth carried Finn and hit his shoulder in the barricade and pained. Cynthia looked at the tv. She knew that something went wrong but she didn't talk. She watched till the end of the match when Finn won and became the first ever universal champion then went to her room.
Following day she received a call from Finn's mother. Cynthia kept looking at the phone then answered her
L: Cynthia?
C: Hey aunt Leonie
L: Hey sweety! How are you?
C: i am fine thanks!
L: but Finn isn't
Cynthia kept silent for while as she became worried
C: what's wrong!?
L: he got injured in his right shoulder
C: what you say? How?
L: his shoulder dislocated when it hit the barricade last night
Cynthia became silent as her tears fell down. Feeling so worried about him
C: where is he now?
L: we still in NYC for Raw to relinquish his title then will head to Alabama for his surgery
Cynthia ended the call without a word as she was speechless can't believe what happened. She knew that she had to be with Finn the night before.
She headed to her room and packed her bag but Joe stopped her.
"Mommy" Joe said quietly as he walked to her so she carried him
"Baby! You have to stay here with aunt Martin and Nana okay?" Cynthia said
"Daddy!" Joe said pointing at the door
"Yes baby i will go see daddy but i can't take you with me" Cynthia said kissing his forehead
Joe hugged her so she hugged back and took him to Martin who was sitting with the family in the living
"Guys..i will travel to Alabama" Cynthia said in broken tone with tears
"What's wrong?" Marlo asked
"Finn is injured. He will go there for Surgery" Cynthia said turning her face aside removing her tears
All became silent from their shock and couldn't say anything. Cynthia left Joe to Martin and took her bag and headed to the airport taking the first plane to Alabama.
Cynthia took alot of hours to arrive to Alabama as she like arrived the following day noon. When she arrived she headed to the hospital. She went to the reception to ask for his room number
"Can i ask for Fergal Devitt's room?" Cynthia asked quietly
"Yes. It's 274" nurse said with quiet smile
Cynthia left her heading to his room. She was walking slowly her tears falling. She reached his room so she knocked and entered to see his parents sitting and Finn on bed sleeping from the effect of anesthetic. His parents looked at her as they felt happy that she came. She looked at them then walked to Finn's bed and sat beside him her tears still falling. She held his hand quietly and kissed it for long time then looked at him.
"Baby! I am here. Come on wake up" Cynthia said as she started to cry quietly "baby! I knew i had to be with you at summerslam but i am sorry. I won't leave ever again just wake up and answer me please! When we got apart i wasn't scared 'cause i know you still around me but when i heard what happened i felt like my soul was taken away. I feel you baby! I knew you got injured but i tried to deny this cause i wanted you to keep the champion! The champion of my heart"
Cynthia rested her head on his chest crying. She felt a hand running slowly over her hair so she raised her head to find Finn awake smiling quietly at her "Baby! I missed you"
"I missed you too" Cynthia said so happy that he answered her. She kissed his lips for abit long then got apart and held his hand
"I knew you would come" Finn said in tired voice
"I have to! I can't leave you alone this way" Cynthia said with a quiet smile
"You said you knew that i got injured!! How?" Finn asked
"I have been watching you for three years and know all your moves. But at summerslam i felt your pain. I felt like something broke you. The way you pained wasn't like any normal pain you feel in your match! I just feel you" Cynthia said placing a kiss on his hand
Finn kept looking at her with a smile feeling happy on hearing this. "Promise not to leave?"
Cynthia kept looking at him then down then at him "I promise you my demon"
Cynthia looked at his parents and smiled at them with a soft smile
"I am happy that you got on same page" Fintan said
"Hope you stay for the rest of your life together" Leonie said
Cynthia looked at Finn smiling as he also still smiling "I will see the doctor" Cynthia left the room heading to Dr. Jeff Dugas office. She knocked on the door before he gave permission to enter so she opened the door and walked to his office "Dr i am here to ask about Finn" Cynthia said as he offered her to sit down and they looked at each other.
"Sure Ms...May i know your name please?" Dr Dugas said looking at Cynthia kindly
"I am Cynthia. Finn' s..." Cynthia paused for while confusing and kinda ashamed to say that she only his girlfriend. She was so sad "I am his Girlfriend but we will get married soon I don't know"
"Well Mrs Cynthia..Finn's injury will take long time like 6 months and he will stay here in Alabama till all the surgeries get over. If you want to stay with Finn. You just can rent a home or something till he leave the hospital" The Dr said which made Cynthia keep looking at him then down with a nod
"He won't wrestle again?" Cynthia said as she got tears on saying this question
"Nono the injury is fine not to make him wrestle again. It's just will take long" Dr said then Cynthia nodded as she excused herself and left back to Finn's room. She sat with him all day taking care of him. His father rent a home for Cynthia to stay in till Finn leave the hospital and she called Martin to bring Joe to her.
