We arrived at the hotel just after the prom had started so we went in and sat at a table. I watched as all the people I had known for the last 7 years get pissed and start dancing round the room and all I could do was laugh. I felt someones hand on ly shoulder and I looked round to see shan stood there.
Sophie: you alright?
Shanno: yeah it just it's weird to think I'm never gonna see most of the people in the room ever again.
Sophie: oh baby. It will be alright. Do you wanna show these drunk idiots how it is true respectable people dance?
Shannon: always
I took her hand and we walked to the dance floor. Just as we stepped foot on it the song changed to thousand years by Christina perri. I saw the smile grow on shannon's face as I placed my hands on her waist and brought her close. She put her hands on my shoulders and our foreheads rested against each other.
Sophie: how did I get so lucky to get to have the most perfect prom night with the girl I love.
I saw Shan smile as our lips connected. She pulled away and we stayed swaying the rest of the song and the rest of the night.
