He pulls it out again. "Did you get it?" You ask him, tossing your head back in relief. "Yea I got the splinter out." "That was such a painful splinter." "It was your idea to go jogging at noon in ninety degree weather in flip flops." "Good thing no one else is home or else I would have gotten in so much trouble for cursing like that."
