I love you like
Chocolate, like the colour
Of your soul: brown and
Ancient, like the shade of
Trees that have withstood
Centuries, like you
Have withstood years of
Abuse, like leather that has
Deteriorated with
Age, but like don't you just
Love the smell of old
Leather?
Like, nuts, like how
Squirrels depend on
Nuts to hibernate and I
Kinda depend on
You to eradicate, like
Empty shells that contain
Naught but air, like
Owls are shells too, to
Wise personas that man
Has breathed unto owlkind, like
How you kind of look
Like an owl with those
Round glasses, and
You're kinda cute, like
Mud pies, except you're not
Gross, but you, like, remind me of
Days where lives were
Easier, like chocolate milk and
Wafer sticks and like
"Tick-tick-tick!", hear the
Wooden clock click into
Position, like smooth, like
Your voice calling unto my
Name, like how we
Shake hands, like how
Coffee beans mix unto
Hot water, because like
You never fail to
Energize me, and like
Tantalize me, because like
How the heck do I
Even approach you, my
Friend and tell you that I
Kinda like you,
Because like, you are
Chocolate.
One sizzling touch and
A dazzle of
Heated thoughts and
You
Are
Gone.
A/N: Because I need to get some thoughts out, hahahaha. xD
