For education is as simple as baking a fresh batch of cookies.
Now, here is where the magic occurs, so
Keep your lips sealed and welcome to the world, where
Fantasies and realities are one and the same,
And there is no difference between glory and shame.
You'll need all the basics - the butter, the flour,
The sugar, the eggs and all the manpower,
Grab your measuring cups and spoons galore,
Because well, oh boy, let us see what's in store!
Now, make sure to have three quarters a cup,
Of granulated sugar, no no - that's enough!
You want it quite sweeter? No, no, that can't be.
We've a fixed algorithm - a fixed recipe!
Because to have it be sweeter is blatantly wrong,
And if it's less so even, heck, it's still entirely wrong!
You see, education is strictly a success
When the entire criteria's been perfectly met.
Now, add in the flour, the eggs and the salt,
Mix them in quickly. Rush now, don't halt!
Then don't forget the best ingredient of all!
The chocolate chips! To the bowl, they shall fall!
Oh, what's that? You dislike chocolate chips?
Oh, my my, you'd better tighten your lips!
It isn't an option, my dear, I'm afraid.
Just keep silent. Those thoughts'll go away.
Now, dear, do learn to accept things as you should!
It's no two-way communication! Now sit and be good!
If you have any questions that may confuse the class,
It'd be best you sit still. No one needs your sass.
Now, where were we? Time to roll the dough!
And cookie cut circles, now here we shall go!
No, my dear, circles don't have edges and spikes!
Nor corners nor wings nor stars and stripes!
Now, dear, you see, you need to learn to conform,
Our standards, you see, to ensure we perform,
According to what our nation entails us!
Perfection in circles is strictly a must!
Now, heat up the oven to 190 degrees.
This is the easiest step. It's simply a breeze.
Just lay back and wait and grab a good book,
As we'll patiently wait for the cookies to cook.
Wait, hold on? You don't own an oven, you say?
You can't afford one? Well, that's much to our dismay.
We've got to bake them! Now go to the store!
It doesn't matter that you won't bake any more!
Now, you see, my dear, sacrifices are crucial!
Lest, society will glare at you in disapproval.
Buy what's necessary to make sure they're happy.
And if you don't need it? Well, at least, they won't get snappy!
Now, here we go! The ultimate cookies are here.
Freshly baked and warm and nicely served!
Now make sure to eat these everyday of every year,
Else, guaranteed, you won't make it past here.
