assassins didn't show their faces for the next three days, jin gave out a command to put guards all around the kingdom and make sure each neighborhood will be safe

jin was devastated, this three days felt like trek that had no end, jin was feeling anxiety choking him and trying to press on his buttons

his head mewled and screamed from time to time to open his goddamn eyes and face the fact that namjoon was the leader of assassins

jin was in no position to know that this was precise, so he continued to assure himself that namjoon was not part of it, but this turned out to be sham

the guards that jin's kingdom owned were industrious, young men who gave up their family lives to protect the city and jin appreciated each one of them

during these anxious three days jin was the one delivering food to them, guards were shocked and really touched by king's kindness as they savored the food ravenously

jin, of course, had two guards with him whenever he went to visit guards that were protecting the city and there was another command given that guards should change every five hours so they can rest

right now jin was in his office room you could say, he was storing the files and counting the taxes his citizens paid

he didn't demand much, citizens volunteered to pay taxes so soldiers and guards will be able to live in better conditions

you could say that this kingdom was like a big peacefull family, never bothering others and taking care of each other

"we're under attack!" jin jolted in his chair and grabbed his black and red katana and strapped the belt around his waist

"whoever you are, i will find you" jin murmured as he heard booms and crashed outside

young king wasted no time as he pulled katana from its place and swung the sword at the assassin that was aiming at hoseok

"you okay?" jin asked and hobi nodded, shock evident on his face

jin told him to go to safe place and rushed outside, scanning the horde to see the leader of the assassins

he spotted him after mere seconds, the assassin stood there, unabated, as he swung his sword and wounded one of the guards

jin rushed towards him, grabbing his attention and starting to fight with him, jin tried to maintain eye contact during fight, trying to figure out if this man was namjoon or not

however, the leader didn't fight him, he knocked jin over and let the man fall on the floor, jin spit out blood and swung his katana at namjoon, cutting his other arm

"aish!" the leader spoke, korean, he speaks korean

"who are you?" jin asked but received no answer as leader pulled him to his feet, jin grabbed an opportunity and ripped the mask off leader's face

jin gasped, loud enough for namjoon to hear as he stared at him

"n-na-namjoon?!" jin asked, his voice sounding far from himself

"no" the man replied as he put the mask back on and swung his sword, slicing jin's legs

"ah!" jin cried out, the back of his legs bleeding
