Next day came crushing down like some unexpected rain droplets in the middle of the summer day

It felt negative

Whole day felt like a mistake. Whole day felt like a big black hole that is not able to fill itself with some sort of happiness

As Taehyung walked down the loud school hallways his head became fuzzy with different thoughts

He had this weird feeling in his guts that today will be different

In a bad way, sadly

Taehyung went inside his classroom and took a seat in the very back corner, Jungkook was sitting next to him but they never really talked

Rather... Jungkook always avoided Taehyung at all cost

The day flew by without a word from Jungkook's pretty, chapped lips that Taehyung wanted to taste

It was a weird craving he had. He wanted, so desperately to just hold smalled boy close to him

Hear Jungkook's heartbeat against his

Kiss his forehead

Hold him

Cherish him

Maybe even make love to him

But none of that happened, ever

That day Taehyung was doing his homework when the plastic cup hanging on the side of the window shook and Taehyung lifted his head

Looking across the street to see tired-looking Jungkook smiling at him

Stop, please stop, stop smiling like that, Taehyung wanted to scream out but stayed quiet as he waved and grabbed the cup and put it up to his ear

"How are you?" Taehyung heard sweet voice of none other than Jungkook

"A little tired. You?" Taehyung replied and it took a while to receive an answer

"Same" After that Jungkook just sat at his window, gazing at Taehyung and Taehyung stared back

Weird feelings, emotions and shapes were created in few minutes as two held an eye contact for a solid 5 minutes

Eye contact was broken when Jungkook spoke into the cup and Taehyung quickly brought it up to his ear to hear Jungkook's words

"We won't... be able to talk... anymore" Jungkook's voice came in and Taehyung's eyes widened as he looked at Jungkook

Jungkook had a face that showed something in between sadness, regret and maybe some tears in his eyes

And his lips, oh, those cherry lips were chapped and it seemed like he was whispering apologies that never came out of his mouth

Jungkook stood up and smiled one last time

Stop

Jungkook waved one last time

Jungkook smiled one more time, rewarding Taehyung

Don't let go... please don't

Jungkook let go of the plastic up... rather, it slipped through his fingers and Taehyung's eyes widened

Jungkook smiled, one more time... one last time as he started to disappear

Disappear into the thin air

Drop! a tear slipped from Taehyung's eye as he watched Jungkook dissapear

Taehyung's face became serious out of sudden when he looked at Jungkook with unexplained expression, his eyes hooded

However, before Jungkook vanished completely Taehyung heard, very velvety, distant, broken voice murmur

"I am a star in the night sky Tae. It's time for me to go home. Sorry angel"

please Jungkook, don't go...

but it was too late... it was late from the very beginning

If you did not understand what happened let me explain

Jungkook was a star, descended from the sky to be amongst humans for few weeks

When Jungkook started developing feelings for Taehyung he started to fade because stars are forbidden to love

He wanted to kiss Taehyung but he would have killed older boy if he did so

It was all the part of being a star

So Jungkook spared his and Taehyung's feelings and disappeared before things got serious

What Jungkook did not know was that it was already serious for Taehyung...
