How everyone looks like in one shot

Jimin was outside, in a cold night. But Jimin could not feel anything. Not cold nor hot. He was simply numb. Numb because he was hurt. Everything simply hurt

It had been months since the nerve-wracking accident had happened but Jimin still couldn't get over it. What happened few months ago shattered Jimin and changed everything about him

Jimin was sitting on some open boxes of gasoline, in front of him was a gasoline line

If you'd light that line on fire it would eventually reach boxes and everything would burn, including Jimin

Jimin sat there, lighted match in one of his hands, he was ready to throw it at the beginning of line and once again try to commit suicide

Jimin was about to throw it forward when he heard someone's voice

"Jimin" The voice called and Jimin groaned, blowing on match, and throwing it away

"Not now Taehyung" Jimin warned as he saw his friend, standing few feet away from him, frown overtaking his features

"Jimin... stop doing this. Stop trying to kill yourself" Taehyung told him sternly but he didn't move from his place nor did he attempt to pull Jimin down from gasoline boxes

"Why? Because you want me to not be in denial? You want me to face the truth?" Jimin said and hopped down from one of the boxes he was sitting on

He lurched forward, towards Taehyung with each sentence he uttered from his chapped lips

"This is the truth Taehyung, I don't wanna live here anymore!" Jimin shouted slightly but Taehyung didn't even flinch or blink

"You are not Jimin that I knew..." Taehyung was about to say something else but Jimin cut him off

"And you're not alive anymore Taehyung" Jimin cried out and turned around for a brief second

"Look, I didn't say that to hu-" Jimin turned around to face his best friend but Taehyung was gone

"Of course, I hurt you, didn't I?" Jimin whispered as he wiped his hand across his mouth, feeling lump raise in his throat

"It's okay Taehyung, eventually everyone leaves me..." Jimin said as he stepped up on one of the boxes again and lighted one more match

"Jimin, don't" Taehyung appeared again. Taehyung didn't seem startled or cautious because Jimin was about to commit suicide

"Taehyung, I can't do this anymore..." Jimin whispered through gritted teeth and looked into Taehyung's dead, cold eyes that once were shining with happiness and life

Tears welled up in Jimin's eyes but he blinked them away "I am not okay Taehyung, all right?" Jimin said, frustrated

"You know how I feel?" Jimin shouted and Taehyung's look became sympathetic, softer but Jimin knew that if he'd just let himself to believe that his friend was alive again he's just gonna break further
