We made it into our quarters. Drax and Mantis were talking. Gamora, Nebula and I came running in. Gamora grabbed Mantis by the neck and held her up against a wall.
"Who are you people? What is this place?" She demanded. "Gamora, let her go!" Drax ordered. "The bodies in the caverns...Who are they?" She demanded. Mantis grabbed Gamora's arm. The tips of her antennae glowed again. "You are scared" she said in a muffled tone.
Gamora's face changed from aggressive to frightened right when she dropped Mantis. "What did she do to me?" Gamora demanded as she panted, scared.
"She already told me everything" said Drax. Mantis got up. "The bodies...are his children" she informed. Children? I thought Peter was his only kid?
"We need to find Peter and my kids now, and get off this damn planet" shouted Gamora. "Ego will have won him to his side by now. And your children are most likely dead" Mantis warns. "Then we just go" Nebula decides. "No!" I manage to shout. "He's my best friend, my brother."
"He's our friend and father of Gale and Amulet" Gamora pitches in. "All any of you do...is yell at each other. You are not friends" Nebula says. "You're right. We're family. We leave no one behind" Drax says. I gesture to Nebula. "Except maybe you" I say. "Oh, my God" Nebula mutters.
All of a sudden, my communicator started beeping. Rocket. "Finally" I muttered. I opened my communicator. "Rocket?" I asked. "Keep that transmitter nearby, so I can find you babe. We're in an old piece of construction equipment Yondu once used..." "To slice open the Bank of A 'askavaria" I finish with a smirk. "How did you-" "I was a Ravager remember?" I ask. "Right." "Ego's unhinged" I point out as I run along with the other guardians. "I know. Get ready" he said.

We were running towards the palace, all of a sudden, this bright blue light came through. I shielded my eyes with my arm.
When it disappeared, Drax kicked the door down. Ego was surrounded by blue energy and Peter, Jessica and the twins were being stabbed by a spear of blue energy. I gasped.
All of a sudden, a ship burst in. And I knew who's ship that was. "Hey there Jackass!" I heard. Yondu. Oh boy. The ship crashed into Ego.
The door to the ship opened and Groot waved. Gamora and I ran to go help Peter, Jessica and the kids. Drax, Nebula and Mantis ran onto the ship.
The kiddies were crying. Peter was in a massive amount of pain. I grabbed Jessica by the arms. "Hey!" She snapped. "What the hell happened?" I demanded as I put her on my shoulders. "Peter, Gale, Amulet and I were being used as batteries to aid Ego in destroying the universe" She explains with a smirk. "Any you let him do that why?" I demand as I pull her up onto the ship. "For what the universe had to offer me, it deserves to burn" she replies with a smirk.
