The last few years haven't been kind to Peter Quill, but if there's one thing still going for him, it's the Guardians. With Knowhere are their new base, a fantastic new ship, and plenty of new mission, things seem to finally be going well for the galaxy's favorite found family. But things take a turn for the worse after the Guardians respond to a distress call that sets them on a collision course with a dangerous new foe...or at least, new for all but one of them. Combine that with a newly born golden gladiator, a green-skinned ghost from the past, and a suspicious, time-skipping enigma, and the Guardians are certainly in for one last wild ride! ... Can't wait for May 5th? Neither can I! This fanfiction represents my best prediction for the upcoming Marvel film, and while an added OC certainly skews my accuracy, this fic is what I have to satisfy myself (and anyone else) with until the film finally arrives! This is my first published fanfiction, so any comments are welcomed and greatly appreciated (just please keep things clean).
