Chap 20: Alright. Four Down, Three To Go.

"Now let's get to a happier conversation. Has anyone else besides Yuri asked their parent or parents about Japan?" I changed the conversation. You may think it's weird but I don't mind talking about what happened with my father. It doesn't bother me.
"Actually my mom and dad said fine as long as I don't charge them too much," Citri said.
"My parents finally gave in when I told them they wouldn't have to pay," Aria said.
"I'm going to ask my parents after school today," Osaka said.
"Same thing with me," Oleander said. The bell rung.
"Well, I guess let's go then," I said. After we all got home I decided to prepare something for my mom to sweeten the deal.
"Hi mom. You're home early," I said.
"I wanted to leave work earlier to be with you and Onette. Wait. You made something for me? What do you want?"
"Fine. Before you flip this would be sponsored by the school meaning they are paying for our trip. Can I go with all my friends to Japan for the summer? The hotel is also paid for and I can bring my own money!"
"Is all you talk about expenses? Anyway, I can trust you. As long as you promise not TO HOOK UP WITH ANY BOYS I'll be fine letting you go."
"You and your requirements," I muttered, "anyway, thanks!"
"Be sure to pack clothes of all sorts for Japan! I don't know the climate there.. Text me everyday!"
"Alright I will. But you're forgetting I'm not leaving for a while."
"Right... Oh, Evangeline?"
"Yeah?"
"Could you possibly.. I don't know.. take Onette with you..?"
"Really? Does she even want to go to Japan?"
"I don't know but I'm at work all the time and she's still a little young to be home by herself."
"What about mom-mom and pop-pop?"
"They like going to bingo, the swim club, senior-cise, and all those elderly things. They don't really have time for Onette."
"Alright. I'll take her with."
