Chap 13: The Strange Land Of Japan. Part 1.

"Yawn. Good morning. I wish something interesting would happen at school today. The only fun things happen on the weekends or summer break. At least my birthday is coming up. Yuri's happened a while ago on the fifth. Anyway, I should get going to school. Boring school. Don't get me wrong, I like seeing my friends at lunch and learning, but I wish I could have more days off."
"That's very interesting but you should go meet Sachael and Yuri for school before you're late, sis," Onette said.
"Oh yeah! Bye!"
"Bye Evangeline."
What if I took a year off with my friends before college? That would be fun. But what would we do? Go somewhere fancy? Maybe we could go to Paris! That would be fun! I decided not to mention this to everyone until the end of the school day. Otherwise we'd all be thinking about it the whole day. You know, Even though I already know French, Aria is from Japan. I take Japanese class with her. Maybe I could convince Aria during class for everyone to take a year abroad! I'm an Otaku but she's the real Otaku since she's actually from Japan!
"Evangeline, can I speak with you after class?" Mrs. Conshire asked me when I came in. I took my seat next to Aria and said, "Sure."
When class was over I went to Mrs. Conshire's desk. "What did you want to talk to me about?"
"Here's a hall pass. This conversation might go on for a while. So I wanted to ask you, have you heard of the sprite's power?"
"Actually. Yes. I have it myself."
"Well then this is perfect. You and Aria are my most fluent Japanese speakers in all my classes. I can tell you two are friends since you are always talking."
"Yeah. Sorry about that. Anyway, why did you want to know?"
"Well. I wanted you to travel to Japan this summer. Before college. I want you two and possibly others to fend off strange occurrences that have been reported in Japan."
