Chapter 20: Casting System

Walang buhay akong humikab at pumasok sa banyo para makapagayos at makapaghanda para sa klase.

It's not a need for me to enter but I just like it. I love the feels.

It took me half an hour and finally, I'm done. I locked the door and walk in the hallway.

While I am walking, I heard different movements, mages talking, and a quick flashing of camera.

Napalingon ako sa kanan, it was a boy with a DSLR camera running until he disappeared. Damn, I can sue him for taking pictures without permissions!

Napabuntong hininga na lang ako at inayos ang tindig at taas nuong naglakad. I'm standing tall, 168cm in height and my sexy curves are showing because of my uniform. It's pretty.

Hindi ko pinansin ang tingin ng iba sa akin. I'm a new face here, they would ask about my existence.

Binuksan ko ang double door ng superior building at diretso ang punta sa Café. They offer different types of food, lahat ng pagkain na nasa isip mo nandito.

I'm not that hungry pero I still need food to be energetic. Lumapit ako sa counter at tumikhim.

"One slice of cheese pizza, one order of burger and fries, and chicken breast sandwich."

"How about the drinks, miss?"

"Bottled water." I think food is free here. They have land and water manipulators to provide their needs. Unlimited.

Tho water isn't an independent power in light because in their perspective, it's the product of ice and fire. So it's a sub. And there is no Water Kingdom.

After a minute or two, I'm carrying my tray using my ice power. Nakakapagod naman kung kakargahin ko pa.

Umupo ako sa isang bakanteng upuan at nagsimulang kumain nang tahimik. Hindi naman ako tulad ng iba diyan na maingay. Walang manners.

"Omg, bakit parang may kamukha siya?"

"Halaaaa!"

"Myghad! This is insane!"

I ignored the noise coming from a circle of mage beside my table. I'm not eating in an hour or two naman kaya I can endure. Inilapat ko ang kamay sa water bottle para lumamig ang tubig. Mage's hack.

"She's beautiful!"

"Dyosa pre. Dyo-sa."

"Magkalevel of beauty na sila ni Princess Erha!"

After few minutes, I stood up because I finished my meal. The delicious foods was satisfying. 

Lumabas na ako ng cafe at hinanap ang  room ko. Nang mahanap ang silid, agad kong pinihit ang door knob at walang ingay na pumasok.

I dont want to disturb mages inside the classroom, I think they are studying. But what disappoint me is all of them are on their phones.

A boy wearing a big round glasses looked up and our eyes met. I immediately saw how his eyes widen in shock.

He blinked many times while shaking his head. I shook my head also and sat in the vacant chair, just beside him.

I know I look rude, pero walang pake akong sumandal sa lamesa at natulog. Sana paggising ko dumating na ang dragon na dahilan kung bakit ako napunta dito.

"I HEARD WE HAVE A NEW STUDENT?!"

Nagising ako sa malakas na sigaw ng isang babae. Nagtaas ako ng tingin at nahagip ng mata ko ang isang babae, tyansa kong ang edad ay nasa 35-40. Humikab ako at nakayukong nagtaas ng kamay.

"Introduce yourself."

Tumayo ako at nagtaas ng tingin. I pull aside the group of hair covering my face as I held my head high.

"I'm Kylie Villanueva, 17 years old---" the door suddenly opened and it was a boy then suddenly I heard the girl mages shouting in the top of their lungs saying they love prince tyrone and I dont give a fuck, "--ice manipulator."

"Quiet class!" Naramdaman ko ang malamig na bagay na dumampi sa pisngi ko. Unfortunately, agad dumugo ang pisngi ko.

It was a water blade. Agad kong pinunasan ang dugo na tumutulo sa pisngi ko.

Tumingin ako sa guro at hinintay siyang magsalita. She faked a smile. "Have a nice stay, Kylie. And Prince Tyrone, what can I serve you?" tumingin ito sa lalaking kakapasok lang na nakatayo malapit sa pintuan at nakatingin sa akin, "Ms. Kylie, you may now sit."

Marahas na umiling si Prince Tyrone at bumaling sa guro. Lumabas silang dalawa at pagkatapos ng ilang minuto ay pumasok ang guro na may dalang maliit na lalagyan ng poison or potion.

From my stock knowledge, what she is carrying right now is a poison since it's lime green.

"Again, good morning everyone. Ms. Villanueva, I'm Mrs. Reyes." She said while searching a page in her book. It's a spell book.

"Today, I'm teaching you how to cast a spell properly. We are not casting simple spell with simple language and simple products." She snapped and different types, colour, and design of wands appeared. Its floating and going to our direction.

Isa-isa kaming nakatanggap ng wand and I had mine blue and cold. Because of my power I guess.

I know how to cast a spell properly. Ano namang silbi ng pags-stay ko sa Celestia Dimension diba? Alangan namang maging display lang ako doon tulad ng mga taong nasa friendlist mo sa Facebook.

She snapped again. Seconds later, wala na kami sa classroom. Nasa isang gubat na kami. These are pure illusions.

Y'all should know I've been here.

Mrs. Reyes at nakangiti ito sa amin. "I'd like to announce to everyone that you have the privilege to enter royal's section through entering this challenge--and you can't say no."

Sari-saring komento ang narinig ko sa mga kaklase ko. Bad reactions at ang iba ay naghy-hysterical pa. Oa.

"Sa lahat-lahat ng section ito pa talaga!"

"Baka makick-out ako!"

I dont know anything and I'm confused.

"Here's the mechanics of the game, you should kill the mage you are assigned to kill. This is a game, and your role is to be the killer. That mage is the center, at may po-protekta sa kaniya. All you have to do is to kill your target. Goodluck."

"Wait, what? Who's my target?" Napakamot ako sa batok nang mapalakas ang boses ko sa pagtatanong.

Nakatingin ang lahat sa akin at agad na nagkagulo. Lahat sila ay lumalayo sa isa't-isa at nasa gitna ako.

"Layla Ocampo, transferee, sand manipulator, at your back."

Agad akong lumipad at nahagip ng mata ko si Layla. I know who she is because I can sense her power.

Nginisihan niya ako. Maraming mga mage ang nakapalibot as kaniya. She's the center yes but I'm the queen.

"Class, your batons will help you, and give additional life span. That's all. You may now start."

And then the chaos started.
