When they came out of the forest, it was nightfall. She couldn’t believe that what seemed like a few minutes turned into hours. When they went to the inn, she immediately went to bed because of the tiredness.
As she lay in his arms, she thought about everything. She didn’t know who the person Oliver was having relations with was. She knew Zachary loved her and wouldn’t agree to what she wanted to do but she NEEDED to know the truth. In order to prove how much he means to her, she needed to leave him. It would destroy her and kill her on the inside but she had to. Even if it means never seeing him again. She didn’t care that maybe Oliver would kill her if she went back but it didn’t matter anymore.
If only he’ll understand.
