34. Take a Break

Shayne's POV
The classroom filled with laughter when our class adviser announced the upcoming field trip. Lahat sila masaya sa sinabi ng guro.

"Nangangalahati na rin ang taon. All of us got stress with so many homework, quizzes, exam and other stuff so, we guess that we all deserve to take a break."

Mas lalong umingay ang classroom nang sabihin niyan ng prof namin. They're all excited including me, Matagal na rin kasi simula n'ong lumabas kami ng pamilya ko. So I guess tamang-tama ito para makapag-enjoy na rin ng kahit kaunti.

"Is there any question?" tanong ng Prof matapos ipaliwanag ang tungkol sa field trip.

"Ma'am saan po ba 'yong destination natin? " one of my classmates asked.

"Well, we don't have any specific place. Actually may dalawa kaming pinagpipilian. We will inform you kapag nakapili na kami. Wala na bang tanong?"

Wala ng nagtanong kaya nagsalita ulit si Prof. "Class dismissed."

Mas lalong umingay ang classroom nang marinig niyan. Seriously mas excited a sila sa dismiss of class kasya sa field trip.

"Sasama ka ba Shayne?" tanong ni Yana. Medyo mahal 'yong fee but I guess we can afford that. We're not rich but Papa always make sure that we can live a comfortable life as everybody does.

"Of course ikaw?"

"Oo, so may plano ka na?"

"Anong plano?"

"I mean gamit? May two piece ka na?"

There's no hell na magsusuot ako ng two piece.

"Two piece?"

"Hindi joke lang s'yempre hindi ko rin kaya magsuot n'on!" She giggled.

The next day our professor announced na meron na raw silang napiling lugar. Isang resort iyon somewhere in Bicol. Bukas na rin 'yong trip kaya excited na ang lahat.

Pagkauwi sa bahay, naghanda na rin ako ng mga dadlhin ko. Mayamaya kumatok si Kiko.

"Bukas 'yan!"

"Ate, nasa baba si Shawornwong."

"Ha? Oh sige bababa na---" Hindi pa ako tapos magsalita nang makita ko siya sa likod ni Kiko. Ano naman kaya ang sadya niya rito. Napapansin ko rin feel at home na yata siya dito.

"Hmmm?" I asked him.

"I'll fetch you tomorrow morning kaya gumising ka ng maaga."

Ano akala ko may bus na maghahatid sa amin papuntang resort?

"Bukod tayo sa kanila. Pinahiram ni Lolo 'yong school van. Doon tayo sasakay may sarili tayong driver kaya walang problema. You can bring Koko with you if you want," he said at tumalikod na.

"It's Kiko not Koko!" reklamo ni Kiko at sinundan siya pababa. Napailing na lang ako habang nakatingin sa kanila.

Shayne awed with the surrounding.
The pine tress swaying wind the wind create a cold refreshing air. The blue crystal water waves so slowly. The gloomy days match with the surrounding. It is that hot but isn't cold. Tama-tama lang iyon para maenjoy ang tubig. Walang masyadong araw kaya kahit magbabad ka sa tubig ay hindi ka maiinitan. If you're looking for a place, Well this is such a perfect place to mellow at.

She closed her eyes to breathe some fresh air when someone spoke behind her. She open her eyes and saw Ryder smiling at her.

"How do you find the place?"

"It's good, I love it!"

"Alam mo bang ako 'yong nag- suggest kay Lolo na dito na lang gawin yung field trip?"

"Talaga?"

He just nodded in respond.

"Nakapunta ka na rito?"

He smiled bitterly before answering my question. "My family used to spend summer here. Natigil lang 'yon n'ong mawala si Mommy."

Oh I didn't mean to bring out the topic.

"I'm sorry."

"Okay lang...enough with the drama! We came here to enjoy. So, let's go?" he said habang tumatakbo papuntang dagat. Sumunod naman ako sa kanya. He took of his shirt at nagtampisaw sa tubig. He has a very sculptured body. He has a broad shoulder that make you wonder how it feels to be wrapped around his arms. He seems hotter than a volcano nearby. I took away all my dirty thought at sumama sa kanya sa tubig. Binasa niya ako kaya gumanti ako sa kanya. Nasa ganoong sitwasyon kami nang tawangin kami ni Dale.

"Kakain na, mamaya na muna 'yan," he said at tumalikod na sa amin.

"Susunod na Pare!"

Hindi na lumingon si Dale at nagpatuloy sa paglalakad. Inalalayan ako ni Ryder at sabay kaming umahon sa tubig.

Our hands was intertwined while were walking on the shore. Actually he's the one who innitiated it but I didn't have enough force to pull my hand. Or maybe I just love being held by him.

His eyes was all on me, and I'm also doing the same. So we didn't noticed na meron palang bato sa daraanan namin. He dragged me para makaiwas sa bato. Dragging me with a speed and force that both send us falling to the ground. I opened my eyes and realized that I was on top of him. But I didn't have enough strength to stand up. We're just stayed like that for a couple of second. Our lips is just a few inch to each other. Our eyes locked, no one seems to look away. Our lips is almost... well scratch that not almost cause his lips already touched mine. At first I don't know how to respond with his kisses. But later on I just found myself responding to his kisses. The sensation filled our senses. We almost forgot that we're in the middle of the shore. I stood up as soon as I got back to my senses.

I'm annoyed, pissed at nahihiya ako sa sarili ko. I can't imagine that I kiss a guy in the middle of the shore. I don't know what's more I annoyed about the fact that we kissed or the fact that I enjoyed it.
